The 101 st Supreme Session held in Niagara Falls, NY, was attended by several of our members. Thank you to all the Past Queens, Line Officers, Delegates, Dancers & Pageantry members, Patrol members and Ladies of the Household who attended with me. My special thanks go to my escorts and banner bearers from the Dancers & Pageantry, our designated unit, and the Patrol. And cherish the lovely gifts, laughs, presentations and pranks. The week was very busy with new legislation, election of Supreme Officers, fun and moving unit performances, new friendships and reconnecting with friends from near and far. There was a total of 1,112 voting delegates present this year. Karen Keuther was installed as Supreme Queen arriving on a boat as the legendary Maid of the Mist. Also installed were Supreme Princess Royal Shirley Henley from Cincinnati, OH, Supreme Princess Tirzah Dale Obernolte from Fresno, CA, and Supreme Princess Badoura Heather Krastins Lambert from Minneapolis, MN. was incredibly honored to represent sis Temple No. 41 in Niagara Falls. How wonderful it was to see our outstanding units perform and to be present to accept numerous accolades for our efforts throughout last year. The Dancers & Pageantry performed an angelic new routine with perfection. can t wait for the rest of our members to get to see it at our next Ceremonial. The Patrol didn t miss a step in their fun marching routine, and they also participated in honor guards and marched in the mass patrol formations during opening and closing sessions. Daughters of the Nile temples collectively contributed nearly $3 million to the Shriners Hospitals for Children last year. sis Temple gave roughly $16,000 to the Daughters of the Nile Foundation last year, which once again earned us a spot in the Foundation Club, which recognizes temples who contributed more than $10,000 during the year. Junior Past Queen Jennifer Nance and had the honor of attending a private reception with snacks and champagne, where we were presented with a new plaque and had our photo taken with mperial Potentate Chris Smith. Great effort, ladies! The new plaque will be placed in the display case on the second floor at Hadi alongside the one we received last year as a founding member of the Foundation Club. Let us keep up the momentum for 2017! What a joy it would be to continue to find ourselves among the major donors each year! n all, 28 temples were recognized by the Foundation with our collective donations totaling $483, n addition to the recognition we received for our monetary donations, was so proud to get to accept awards for sis Temple s membership efforts last year. sis Temple is currently the third largest temple in North America. During JPQ Jennifer s reign, we initiated 14 new Princesses and had a net gain in membership of 3. Last year was the first year since 2002 we have seen growth in our membership numbers. t is my goal to continue that trend this year. f we each just proposed ONE lady for membership, it would have a massive positive impact on our temple.

Unknown Princess Royal Robbi Redman We made it home safe from the beautiful Niagara Falls, NY where we attended the 101 st annual Supreme Session. We had lots of fun enjoying the tours of the Maid of Mist and downtown. We danced, sang and had much needed fellowship. Wow what an experience! We also voted on several bylaw changes at Session. My Supreme counterpart, Shirley Henley, was installed as Supreme Princess Royal, and she invited us all to the 102 nd annual Supreme Session in Cincinnati, Ohio June 24 28, We had an amazing time in New York watching our Queen Krista Williams represent our temple with such class. Two of our units performed this year -- the Patrol and the Dancers and Pageantry. They both did an amazing job! Have an amazing summer with fun, fellowship and Nile love! As always, Nile love Robbi Redman, Pr. Royal robbiredman@yahoo.com
4 sis Temple No. 41 Newsletter July 2017 Page 4 of 20 Princess Tirzah Cheryl Stader Ladies of the Household, t has been a good start to the summer. On May 21, my husband and took a trip with several Nobles and their Ladies to the dedication of the Lexington Medical Center. They had six Shrine children there to welcome us and share their experiences at the hospital. The hospital has a new Whole body x-ray Machine which uses less radiation which is better for the kids. Pretty Cool, huh? When your time permits, you should visit a Shrine Hospital. Check out the new medical techniques. n June, we went to Niagara Falls, NY for the 101 st Supreme Session. We had a Ceremonial and initiated seven new candidates; our own PQ Tina Dobbs was the JPQ and did a wonderful job! The new Supreme Queen Shirley Henley s installation of officers was a spectacular event. Supreme Queen Shirley came in on a Maiden of Mist boat with Nobles pulling her to the altar. can hardly wait for the Supreme next year in Cincinnati, Ohio. Hope to see you at our sis Temple August 7 th Ceremonial. Nile love, Cheryl Stader Princess Tirzah jbtav@att.net Ladies of the Household, Princess Badoura Casey Wonders Supreme was absolutely a wonderful experience in Niagara Falls. The Falls are stunning and completely breath-taking to watch and behold. We were fortunate this year to have four Past Queens to be running for Supreme Princess Badoura. After three rounds of voting, Heather Krastins Lambert, from Mat- Sha Temple No. 62 in St. Paul, MN, was elected. At our Badoura luncheon, we were originally told we were Heather s Darling Dromedaries (camels) with our colors being yellow, black and, white. Well she pranked us- while our colors are still yellow, black and, white we are Heather Nile Smiles. Thank you, ladies, for choosing me to represent sis Temple No. 41 as Badoura at the 2017 Supreme Session. t has truly been an honor. Hope to see you at the August Ceremonial. Nile love, Casey Wonders Princess Badoura Cjwonders85@gmail.com Note from Pr. Chaplain Della Kokomoor Hello, My committee and visited eleven shut-ins during the Easter celebration.
