2 Page 2 of 6 Carlynton vs West Allegheny Our West Allegheny Indians had a great day against Carlynton. Our 7U team came from behind with only a few seconds left on the clock to tie the game Our 8U team knocked off the undefeated Cougars 20-6, while our 10U team shut out the Cougars Our 11U team continued to dominate in the first half and defeated the Cougars Since Carlynton does not have a 9U team, our 9U team played Montour and fell short Overall it was a great day for West Allegheny Football. West Allegheny finished the day Cheerleading Video We will be videotaping the halftime performances of all of the cheering squads during the Moon vs West Allegheny football game on Sunday, October 14, The cost of the video will be $5.00. If you are interested in purchasing a video, please place your order with your team mom. Your $5.00 cash payment is due with your order. All orders need to be turned in by the start of your game. Help Wanted We are looking for adults to volunteer an hour or two during our home games to run the clock, be a spotter for the announcers, monitor the field gate, and clean up between games. 4 Page 4 of 6 Cheerleaders - Dig Pink Our West Allegheny Youth Cheerleaders participated in Dig Pink on Tuesday, October 2 at the West Allegheny High School Volleyball game. The girls did a great job and they were very excited to cheer on the Volleyball players while supporting such a great cause. Great job girls!

5 Page 5 of 6 Halloween Bash Fundraiser The 10U Football team is hosting a Halloween Bash to help raise money for their trip to the Midwest National Football Championship in Cleveland, Ohio. Saturday, October 20, 2012 Oakdale Community Center Doors open at 8:00 PM Dinner and Beer/Pop Included 50/50 Raffle Football Pool B.Y.O.B. $40/Couple or $25/Person For ticket information, please see Jenn Wertz or Danielle Gubba at the 10U practice field. Costumes are Mandatory! Angelias Pizza Fundraiser Come out and support the 9U Football team at Angelias Pizza on Monday, October 22 from 4 PM to 9 PM to help them raise money for their trip to the Midwest Football Championship in Cleveland, Ohio. Stop by and have your dinner there or get it to go. All you have to do is mention the West Allegheny 9U team when placing for your order. We hope to see you there!

6 Page 6 of 6 9U Football Our 9U Football team has been working very hard this year. After week 6 in the regular season, they have a record of 2-3. Coach Jeremy Horton stated, The boys continue to work hard despite some of the challenges we have faced this season. They have a no quit attitude and I am confident they will finish strong.
