T-shirts will have sign-ups on Thursday and Friday, after completion of signups will order shirts, ordered 84 shirts ii. Sign-ups Thursday 9-11 at the Bell Tower/AMU and Friday 11-1 iii. Recommendations sign-ups online since prime time for classes, time will be recorded so first come get the chance to participate iv. Comments great event, unique d. Colors Orange and purple iii. Donation Location last year was to veterans, nursing home ties into philanthropy, find another place in case have too many cards d. Motion made to reduce the sweatshirts to 250 i. Second called by AJ Kittle ii. Discussion a lot of money for sweatshirts and should not be based around the sweatshirt iii. Question called by Victoria Longton iv. Motion denied

Discussion annual event, increased shirts because ran out in 30 minutes last year, have a deficit and make a cookie i. Shirts do front in gingerbread print, back has the information ii. Simulations old glasses with Vaseline (cataracts), tying dominant arm to simulate a stroke iii. PR UF Update and signs in the AMU, possibly use department funds for printing iv. Slime will not be incorporated this year v. Suggestion see if could get splints and braces to use vi. Fund Allocation SOTA s account d. Motion made to add $10.00 to the budget for PR i. Not much is going to change here, they are here for response time b. Want to get 10 total police officers for 24/7 coverage c. Very safe campus but going to make it safer d. Love talking to students and interacting with them e. Additional information i. Purpose is to serve students and help in educate students so that is why they are located in the student affairs area ii. Safety is a priority iii. Want to add 3 more officers this semester iv. Want students to reach out to the officers when something is going on v. Do not hesitate to reach out to the officers for whatever you need vi. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING cannot do anything if we haven t heard about it trust your gut f. Questions? i. Misconceptions that the student body has and what can we do to help? 1. Has been very positive,
4 have not heard any negativity, participation and conversation s have been great, first time introduced to students was outside of Henderson so may have been very intimidating 2. Twice a month event Coffee with a Cop ii. Informational events still going to be offered? 1. Still offered on campus iii. Emergency? 1. Still call 911 and will go to the campus office and to the city but feel free to call 4799 for anything nonemergency (non-life threatening) iv. Phone number? 1. Advertise the phone number on campus to make more available to students 2. RA s give numbers to residents, including RD s 3. Number is on the side of the cruisers v. T-shirts? Co-sponser some t-shirts with the number for the security number 1. SENIORS vi. Guns on campus? 1. Yes, the officers are carrying vii. Parking? 1. Not allowed to park in the grass unless it is an event 2. Looking into putting in some parking blocks 3. Recommend not parking in the grass viii. Security for events police or campus security? 1. Facilities is still coordinating, the university has to look at 2. Are being reached out to to attend events ix. Hiring officers? 1. Breathing 2. Have to be certified through the state of Ohio
5 3. Want someone with experience - seasoned 4. Same mindset 5. Fit in with the university and the office - personality x. Call lights around campus? 1. Set up so if someone is running, can be tracked 2. A camera pops up when hit xi. Signal for emergency? 1. Jump up and down, yelling as loud as you can 2. Wave hands, motion towards the incident xii. Snow emergency? 1. Not set up at the moment 2. Move your car when you see the plow so the spot can be cleared 3. Lenient when it comes to parking but have a general idea, remember snow can melt xiii. Speeding? 1. Can be pulled over and given a ticket for reckless driving xiv. Facebook? 1. Giving get out of a ticket cards every month for students that like their Facebook page 2. Post who wins the get out of a ticket card on the Facebook webpage 3. Will have links on the page xv. Orientation weekend? 1. Have a time to talk to them and go over what to do in an emergency and why they are here 2. Great idea Shea! xvi. If drinking and something happens, can you get in trouble? 1. Can use discretion 2. Call regardless if something is wrong, YOU NEED TO

In certain cases, security has more authority than the officers do 3. Will be handled through the university, police will be called if student is not cooperating 4.
