1 GENERALGUIDELINES: 1. Last date of registration for all the competitions is 10 th February All students must carry their institute/college ID cards 3. Participants are required to carry the Authority Letter duly signed and sealed by Head of the Institution. 4. We appreciate if a Faculty Coordinator is appointed by the Head of the Institution to accompany the students Number for individual, dual and group participation is restricted as per the guidelines of each event and will be on first come first serve basis 5. Participants must report at the event venue one hour prior to the scheduled time of event in case of absence of the team or participant would be disqualified 6. Only registered participants can participate and must come one hour prior to the event, in absence of registration slip/ band/ card contestant will not participate 7. Cell phones should not carry during the performance 8. Participants can be disqualified from any event on grounds of malpractices & indiscipline. The decision of the event faculty in-charge will be binding and final. In case of any dispute during the competition decision of the judges shall be final binding upon the participants. 9. Kindly send filled Registration form in an rise.season3@iper.ac.in For any further query find Contact , CATEGORY : SPORTS & PHYSICAL FITNESS # EVENT NO.1: GOL GATTAM LAKAD PATTAM (INDOOR CRICKET) ABOUT THE EVENT: The game is most often played between two teams each consisting of six or eight players. In terms of the concept of the game indoor cricket is similar to cricket. It involves two batsmen, a bowler and a team of fielders. The bowler bowls the ball to the batsmen who must score runs. The team with the highest score at the end of the match wins. Despite these basic similarities, the game itself differs significantly from its traditional counterpart in several ways, most notably on the field of play and the means by which runs are obtained. This tournament would be a Knock Out one. Any team upon losing a single match will be out of the tournament. One bowler can bowl only 2 over Each inning will be of 5 over per side. Empires would be the final authority to take decisions. All the sport equipment will be provided by the Organizers. Stump will be used for batting. (Bat is not allowed) Runs will be scored as general. Based on Knock out Min 06- Max 08 PARTICIPATING TEAMS: 10 Teams Only (FCFS Basis Registration) REGISTRATION FEE: 300/- per team # EVENT NO.2: KHO KHO (FOR GIRLS ONLY) ABOUT THE EVENT: It is played by teams of eight players (seven in sitting position and one striker) Toss will be held to decide who will be Chaser and who will defend. There shall be an interval of 5 minutes after an inning and no break between turnover (turnover means when both the defence players are declared out).

2 The Referee shall record of name of 7 players from Chasers sitting at regular interval facing opposite side on after another. At the beginning of the turnover 1 chaser will be standing to kho the runners. 2 runners shall enter in the Court for their Defence. Chaser has to loudly say KHO when touching the defender. Chasers when touching their own team mates to continue chase also has to say loudly KHO when touching team mate. Completion of one turnover means when last Defender of a batch is declared out, subsequently next 2 Runners shall enter the Court through their Entry Zone. Immediately next 2 Runners shall be inside the Court. Those Runners, who fail to enter immediately, shall be declared out for having entered late (Late Entry.) The Runners shall continue to enter the Court for Defence in the same batch till the end of the innings. The Runners who may enter earlier than closing of innings shall not be declared out but called back by Referee/Scorer The Chasing side shall score one point for each Defender out. The Captain of the Chasing team shall have the option to end the turnover before end of allotted time provided minimum scoring more than 12 points in the first inning is achieved. In subsequent inning, just when one more point is scored compared to the score of earlier inning, Referee can stop further turnover at his prerogative and declare the match as over. In the Knock Out matches, the side that scores more points at the end of the match shall be declared winner. If the points are equal, one more Inning (one turn for each side as Chasers and Runners) shall be played. The side that takes less time to score their first point (minimum chase) shall be declared as winner of the match. Time taken to secure first point shall be recorded in the Score Sheet. In the knock out stages, the winner will get 3 Points and the Looser get Zero Point. Time period between completion of First match and start of second match shall be maximum 10 min. Teams should be ready to take the field as soon as first match is over. The finals will be played on same rules. All the rules are subject to changes by the Referee based on the conditions of play. Declaration of winner is prerogative of Referee and no further discussion shall be entertained in this regard 10 min to each team Team of 8- Max 12 (in case of replacement) PARTICIPATING TEAMS: 08 Teams Only (FCFS Basis Registration) REGISTRATION FEE: 300/- per team # EVENT NO.3: REBOUND (CARROM)(DOUBLES) ABOUT THE EVENT: Carrom (also known as Karrom) is a "strike and pocket" table game of Eastern origin similar to billiards. Each Team or player is assigned a color coin and can only pocket that color coin. Pocketing the queen must be followed by pocketing another coin on the same strike. The red 'queen,' can be pocketed at any time after sinking your first piece but must be sunk before your last one. A foul is recorded in the following situations: The striker is pocketed. The striker or any other piece leaves the board. A player pockets an opponent's piece. A player pockets the final opponent's piece. A player pockets the final piece before the Queen has been covered. 3 # EVENT NO.4: PING PONG (TABLE TENNIS)(SINGLE) ABOUT THE EVENT: Two players will compete together for coming up into the next level The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Play is fast and demands quick reactions. Spinning the ball alters its trajectory and limits an opponent's options, giving the hitter a great advantage. Players must allow a ball played toward them to bounce one time on their side of the table, and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side at least once. A point is scored when a player fails to return the ball within the rules. If the serve is legal except that it touches the net, it is called a let serve. Let serves are not scored and are reserved. All the games will be of 11 points except finals. Each player has to win their matches in order to stay alive in tournament as it will be knock out tournament. Finals for girls will be of 15 points and for boys will be of 21 points. Service will change after every 2 points in the game of 11 points. Service will change after every 5 points in the game of 21 points. Players are not allowed to touch table. If the player does so, it will attract a negative point. Player can bring their personal rackets. All the participants have to maintain the discipline. A four-legged race provides a unique combination of physical activity and teamwork and can even be used as a fun activity to teach students cooperation and strategic plans. This is a team game where a team would consist of 3 players. Both male and female students can participate in this event. Each team should not start running before whistle. If any team does that even after a warning, it would attract a direct disqualification. Referee would be the final authority to take decisions. No team is allowed to touch the ropes tied to their feet. CATEGORY : TECHNOLOGY # Event No.1: Fast and Furious (LAN Car racing game) ABOUT THE EVENT: One of the most exciting fast pace game for the students, where you can showcase your driving and strategy skills in a virtual world. Step in to the world of people who are fast and Furious Cars, Laps will be provided by Organizing Committee. It s an event where every game will have 4 racers. The game has to be played only on keyboard. Any other controllers are not permitted. 4 Players play at a time. The first two players to complete the race will advance to the next round (no. of players who advance to the next round is subject to total number of registrations for the game). 1. Race Mode (Circuits\ Sprint \Lap Knockout) a. LAPS: At the discretion of organizing committee. b. N20: ON c. Car Damage: Off d. Rear-view Mirror: Player s own discretion. 2. Advice: Players must conduct themselves in a reasonable manner and avoid the use of vulgar, offensive language as well as physical abuse. 3. Any disconnection of the connection between match players due to System, Network, PC, and/or Power problems/issues : a. Intentional: Upon judgment by the referee, any offending player will be charged with a loss by forfeit. b. Unintentional: If the disconnection is deemed to be unintentional by the referee, the match will be restarted. If any player does not agree to a match restart, that player will lose by default. Decision of Organizing Committee will be final and binding. Look for clues, take help from every scam, con, hustle, trickery, gambit, flimflam and stratagem and bamboozle whosoever you can think of to reach the final destination and win the prize. It s an online treasure hunt, where the students are free to google out their answers. 1. Khojing Consists of 15 Puzzles. Puzzles are arranged in increasing order of difficulty. Access to the next puzzle can be gained by solving the current puzzle. Khojing lasts for 2 Hours and the participants need to solve all the puzzles within the given time.

Here you have chance to introduce new upcoming technology to your audience. Participant will be judged by an expert. Participant with most realistic technology will be the winner. Each participant has to present a new upcoming technology about gadgets coming after Feb The technology presented by participant should have a practical implication and present only one upcoming technology. Click unique extremely funny selfies with friends or family and send it to us along with a caption to that selfie. Take a Selfie, Share, Tag and Win It s an online game which will start before the event date. The participants after registration are required to send us their selfies along with a caption to rise.season3@iper.ac.in on the given dates. (which will be communicated to you after registration) The main theme behind this event is that you will be taking some extremely unique yet funny selfies with friends or family and sharing the same with the world to see how creative and innovative you are. It s a multi day s challenge where you need to send 5 selfies on the given dates. (disclosed after the registration) Winners will be decided on the basis of amount of likes on the pictures and judge s decision. CATEGORY : PATRIOTISM # EVENT NO.1: AISA DESH HAIN MERA (DRAMA COMPETITION- GROUP ACTIVITY) ABOUT THE EVENT: Lets the emotions flow from face to stage, the chance for the youngsters to showcase their actor and actresses within, the rules for the drama competition is as follows- Drama must be based on the theme- Aisa Desh Hai Mera. Time for each group for the performance is 10 minutes. Any performance that exceeds 12 minutes will be automatically disqualified Participant should come with their own costume and accessories for the performance No music or electronic equipments are allowed Language can be Hindi/English. Regional touch can be given Decisions of judge will be final and non-disputable. 7 4.CATEGORY : LITERARY & KNOWLEDGE # EVENT NO.1: FIZZY (QUIZ COMPETITION) ABOUT THE EVENT: Multiple round based quiz on Business, advertising, movies, sports, literary as the different categories Each team will be getting one picture to draw, one member will have pen and paper and another will get a picture. The team which is able to make the most correct picture as per the actual picture with minimum no of clues in min time taken will be the winner If a team is found to be cheating in any way to complete a challenge, they will be automatically eliminated from the entire competition. The debate is on the topic "Cashless Transaction" contestant will speak with the topic or against the topic only. Each group will be checked on different parameters i.e. level of arguments (Logical), Confidence, Content, and Clarity & Communication. If a team is found to be cheating in any way to complete a challenge, they will be automatically eliminated from the entire competition. Student should be accepted with the decency of the language, manner and non aggressiveness 5 min to each participant PARTICIPATING TEAMS: 12 participants Only (FCFS Basis Registration) REGISTRATION FEE: Rs/- 100 per participant # EVENT NO.3: ANKAKSHARI (NUMBER GAME) ABOUT THE EVENT: This is a team game based on numbers, in which team have to answer some questions by using basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Team will asked question and the tricky questions based on basic fundamentals. Each challenge must be completed within the required amount of time in order to advance to the next round. If a team fails a challenge, they will be given another attempt as long as they still have a life left.

8 For individual challenges, any member of the team can be selected to complete the challenge. If they fail and the team has a life left, then the other team member can be selected for the next attempt. If a team is found to be cheating in any way to complete a challenge, they will be automatically eliminated from the entire competition. Each team will be asked to equal number of questions based upon time allowed. The topics will be abstract or real will be related to social issues, sports, culture, arts and things around us. Presenter are desired to be dressed in formal attire, a piece of paper will be given to the candidate to write down his/her thought related to the topic On the sound of a bell the speaker will start speaking, and a bell will be given 30 sec before the end of 2 minutes. There will be 2 (two) contestants in each group, representing their college and each team will be given one picture to draw 2. One member will be given pen and paper and other member will be given a picture. 3. 9 5. CATEGORY : FUN & LEARN # EVENT NO.1: VIBRANCE (RJ COMPETITION) ABOUT THE EVENT: Here comes the opportunity to unveil your talent and discovering RJ in yourself. This event would put your abilities to influence the people with your voice. Do you have the ability to grab attention when you speak, right attitude, presence of mind, sense of humour, creativity, and ample knowledge of the subjects you speak about??. Round 1: Prelims The contestants will have 60 seconds to impress the judges and to win a place in the final round of Vibrance RJ Hunt. The contestants will have to speak on topics given to them by the judges. They will have 15 seconds to think and 45 seconds to perform. The aim is to entertain the judges and the audience. Round 2: The judges for the final round will be RJs of. the participants will have to perform certain situations in front of the judges. For example, some news that has just come in or a situation to conduct an interview on air or promoting a certain event etc. They will be judged on the basis of their performance. Also, the judges may ask you to perform an impromptu task after your performance. You have only A MINUTE to WIN IT There will be 2 (TWO) contestants in group, representing their college and each team will be given 3 lives. 1. Each challenge must be completed within the required amount of time in order to advance to the next round. If a team fails a challenge, they will be given another attempt as long as they still have a life left. 2. For individual challenges, any member of the team can be selected to complete the challenge. RULE: It is a team activity, each team consist of three members. 2. Activity comprises of three rounds each member will play all rounds 3. after third round, faculty coordinator will announce a winner. 4. In a situation of tie between two or more teams, they have to compete for more two rounds. 5. Director's shot believes that freedom is essential for any creative work & hence provides its participants the complete freedom to choose their own themes and style of work under domain of Social Message. Director's shot offers young filmmakers a platform to showcase their talent in fiction and well as documentary filmmaking Films can have a maximum running time of 20 minutes including titles and credits. Play begins on square number 1 at the bottom lefthand corner of the board and finishes on square 100 at the top left-hand corner. 13 7.CATEGORY : TRAVEL & TOURISM # Event No.1: Meri Galiyaan mere choubare (Photography Competition) ABOUT THE EVENT: Participant need to send 5 photos by as mention id rise.season3@iper.ac.in till 10th Feb 2017 with the subject name as Photos for Travel & Tourism (name of the participant ) Photos would be captured by Camera only, mobile photo will not entertainsize of each photo will be 2 MB each only and send in zip folder Participants will carry the camera along with them to verify the originality of the photos On the day of event participant will carry their photos in hardcopy at particular size of 6 X 4 inches displayed in the described area at IPER Premises 05 min to each team PARTICIPATING TEAMS: 30 Teams Only (FCFS Basis Registration) REGISTRATION FEE: Rs/- 100 per contestant # Event No.2: Mera Madhyapradesh (Presentation- various tourism schemes of MP) ABOUT THE EVENT: In this activity team have to present their ideas to promote tourism in Madhya Pradesh. It is a team activity, each team consist of two participants. Each team has to make a PowerPoint presentation on various schemes of Madhya Pradesh tourism. Each presentation comprises of maximum eight slides. At the end of all presentations, winner will be decided by an expert/ judges. In case of any doubtful situation, decision of the faculty coordinator will be final and binding. CATEGORY : ART & CULTURE Event No.1: SWAR SADHNA (Singing competition) ABOUT THE EVENT Swar sadhna is giving opportunity to sing and singing is the act of producing musical sounds with the voice, and augments regular speech by the use of sustained tonality, rhythm, and a variety of vocal techniques SOLO SINGING Solo Singing Competition categories are Western and Indian Singing as (gazal, sufi, bollywood, patriotic (unity / country based), Indian classical/vocal, religious etc.) Participant need to submit their KARAOKE or Instrumental Music at the time of registration The allotted time for singing is min 5min to maximum 6 minutes including time for stage / instruments setting Sufficient care and thought must be exercised in the choice of Lyrics and Composition. 15 # EVENT NO.2: NRITYA SADHNA (DANCE COMPETITION) Themes: Classical & Non Classical SOLO DANCING AND GROUP DANCING ABOUT THE EVENT: A unique Dance competition and the objective behind this activity is to promote dance and culture among the students and having an artistic and visual display of distinguished dancers across Bhopal's finest youth colleges 1. Teams may select songs from Classical and Non-classical only 2. Teams will have to arrange their own items required for their event of participation. 3. Use of fire/ sharp edges tools on and off the stage is prohibited. 4. It will be the responsibility of the participating College to remove their sets, property after the performance over. 6. All the participants are supposed to confirm their participation at the registration desk for the event on first day (17 th Feb only) 8. All the participants have to participate in all the three rounds. Any participant who does not participate in any of the three rounds shall stand disqualify 2. Participants should report at least half an hour before the event starts behind the stage in ready condition 3. Participating team should bring their prop and responsible for their stuff 4. All props, etc. Used by the colleges must be cleared immediately from the stage after the performance and from the college premises by the end of the day. Do not use fire, flammable substance as props. 5. Judges decision will be final and binding. 6. Lewd remarks, comments during the show by participants directed towards other participants shall not be tolerated and if found true shall be disqualified without any further clarification. Obscenity, vulgarity and wardrobe malfunction of any sort will lead to automatic disqualification. Participants must maintain decorum inside the campus. Instances of misbehavior will be dealt with severely. 7. Any issue related to safety and dignity of girls students should be brought forward to the concerned authorities for proper action. 8.
