2 Team Leader Instructions Our 10th Annual Bowl-a-Thon is a fun way for ARCA to partner with the community to increase awareness and raise funds in support of nearly 700 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities - AND have a great time! Bowlers ARCA is inviting 72 teams of bowlers to join in this festive New Mexico tradition. Teams will consist of a team leader, 2 recruited bowlers and 1 individual receiving services from ARCA (4 team members total). You may join an existing team or volunteer to be a team leader and form your own team. Pledges Team leaders should encourage each bowler to collect a minimum of ten pledges. Try to pick team members you know will get out there and collect pledges from partners such as family, neighbors, friends and/or coworkers. Individuals receiving services from ARCA are encouraged to be a part of this process! There is no fee to bowl, use equipment or to enjoy a delicious lunch! The only requirement to participate is for each player to get a minimum of ten pledges, or at least do the very best you can! Team leaders should encourage bowlers to collect as many pledges as possible - $1,000 per team is our goal! There s no maximum amount you can collect. Can t join us for the Bowl-a-Thon, but still want to contribute? Contact Michele at MCody@ ARCASpirit.org for a pledge form. You can collect pledges in support of bowlers! Pledges should be submitted to ARCA, along with the pledge sheet, at the Bowl-a-Thon registration table on June 2nd. Please ask for contact information from everyone who makes a pledge to your team so we can send a thank you letter! All checks should be made payable to the ARCA Foundation. Credit cards can be processed via our website at Please indicate the 2018 Bowl-a-Thon and the person/team you are pledging! BOWL Ensure each team member who has collected pledges is able to bowl at least one game. That s right - hundreds of people bowling and having a blast getting to know each other! Collect Pledges Any money collected after the Bowl-a-Thon should be submitted to the ARCA Foundation no later than Friday, June 15. For cash pledges, include contact information on the pledge form and inform the donor the ARCA Foundation will provide a receipt. Send Money to ARCA It will be up to the Team Leader to collect and submit all pledges to ARCA. If desired, Team Leaders may instruct bowlers to bring pledge sheets and pledges to the Bowl-a-Thon. ARCA values your feedback! Please submit any comments or suggestions with your pledge sheet(s) and checks.
