To make registration for our programs a fair process, we will now accept sign ups after a Registration Date. This will allow recipients of US mail and newsletters the same opportunity to sign up. For May/June activities: Recreation News BB Riverboats! - Check out our 14+ Recreation list of events! We will be taking a trip to Cincinnati on May 20 to Five Guy s and BB Riverboats. The riverboat will take us on a historic Cincinnati sightseeing cruise along the Ohio River. Berry Special Olympics Soccer Tournament! Miami County Special Olympics soccer team will be hosting the Berry Special Olympics soccer tournament on June 3 at Duke Park. If you are interested in playing on the soccer team, please be sure to register by calling Stephanie Clingan at (937) Boonshoft Museum of Discovery! Check out our (6-22) Recreation list of events! We will be including more events in the summer months, including a couple events occurring during the daytime. We will be taking a trip to the Boonshoft Museum on June 15. Surfs Up Summer Dance! Get ready for some summer fun and dancing on Friday, June 10, from 6:00-9:00pm at Riverside. Please bring a 2-liter or bag of chips to share. Join us for lots of fun at our summer-themed bash.

2 Special Olympics News Golf Please be sure to sign up for Special Olympics golf in early May. We will be making phone calls as the season draws near with information about the golf season. Make sure you have been added to the roster if you are interested. To register, please call Stephanie at (937) or her at Soccer and Volleyball Soccer, and began the week of April10th. If you missed sign-ups, but want to play, please contact the Recreation Department immediately so that we can get you started. Both Soccer and Volleyball will end in June. Sports Banquet All athletes who participated in a sport during the 2016 season are invited to attend our annual Special Olympics Sports Banquet. The Banquet will be held in Riverside s Clausi Gymnasium on May 12, from 6:00-9:00pm. There will be food, gifts and more fun! PLEASE BE SURE TO REGISTER by calling Keri at (937) It is free for athletes and volunteers to attend, and it is $10 for guests. *Suggestions* If you have any suggestions for future activities or events, please share them with us.
