1 The Arc/Morris Adaptive Recreation Program Special Events Calendar September October 2018 McARP P.O. Box 336 East Hanover, N.J (973) x602
2 REMINDERS: Under no circumstances are participants to be dropped off at a van stop and left without a responsible person who will be able to see them safely board the McARP vehicle. McARP staff will have the Recreation/McARP cell phone (973) with them for the duration of all scheduled activities Please only call in case of an emergency. In certain locations, there are times that the cell phone will not function due to limited cell tower coverage. Additionally, Arc/Morris staff are not permitted to use cell phones while driving agency vehicles and it may not be possible for the staff to respond if they are driving until they can pull the vehicle safely to a stop. ***NEW POLICY*** Because of the heavy west bound traffic and the times of our activities along with the attendance numbers, McARP has implemented a new pick-up policy. EAST events (Bingo, Crafts, Video Night, Summer Walks, and Ice Cream Socials, etc.) will only offer pick-ups at the MCM (Morris County Mall). WEST events will provide pick-ups at RAND (PNC Bank on Rt 10 in Randolph) and EYL (Parking lot at Horseshoe Lake on Eyland Avenue). All are welcome to MUT (Meet Us There) for any activity at any location! Also, you cannot register for any activities in this calendar if you still owe money to McARP. If you are not registered with McARP, please contact the Intake Department at (973) x602 **********IMPORTANT********** You WILL be charged for every activity you sign up for unless you call out 24 hours in advance. For big ticketed events where tickets need to be purchased or the number of attendees needs to be forecasted, a 2 week notice is required and refunds are NOT guaranteed. The Registration deadline for September-October 2018 is **August 22, 2018 or ASAP** In the event that the van is running late, we will attempt to call you at the number on file with the office or you may call the McARP cell phone number (973) Please be sure we have your most current contact number and address (preferably cell phone number).
