Overview In 2010, Varsity Communications, Inc. the largest producer of consumer golf expos west of the Mississippi River moved into the St. Louis market as the owner and operator of the St. Louis Golf Expo, with the goal to create a venue in America s heartland for golf enthusiasts, manufacturers and professionals to come together and share their common passion for the great game of golf. In the seven years since, the St. Louis Golf Show has grown into one of the best-attended and most-popular consumer golf expos in the nation, with a devoted following of golfers and a loyal group of sponsors and exhibitors eager to return to the show year after year. Last year s show was the biggest yet, with more than 7,700 consumers of all backgrounds and abilities coming to the St. Louis Convention Center for the 2017 St. Louis Golf Expo. Those attendees were able to interact with golf industry leaders, save big on equipment and services, take home fabulous prizes and giveaways, enjoy interactive exhibits and meet the organizations, businesses and individuals who administer the game. Attendees in 2017 received up to 16 free rounds of golf part of a giveaway package valued at over $300 and enjoyed the season s best values on products and services, new club demos on a free driving range, free swing seminars from leading PGA pros, on-site health consultations and much more. A widespread media campaign promoted the 2017 show. With media partners in print, television, Internet and radio, the promotion of the event covered all mediums and included in-studio appearances and interviews by show organizers. The 2017 St. Louis Golf Expo was made possible by the support of its sponsors, the volunteers who gave their time to the event, the involvement of the exhibitors and the interest and enthusiasm of the golfing public. Prizes included rounds of golf, gift certificates and more! Long Drive & KP Challenge presented by Central Air Heating & Cooling/Ruud Powered by TRUGOLF The Callaway Long Drive Challenge allowed attendees to test out new drivers and have a chance to win terrific prizes! With separate divisions for men, women and seniors, and two sessions each day, everyone had a chance to win! In between long drive sessions, attendees also had the chance to compete for prizes in the Cleveland KP Challenge. Dave Sinclair Lincoln St. Louis Putting Championship Golfers tried to sink a putt to win rounds of golf and be entered into Sunday s St. Louis Putting Championship. 5 Play Better Golf! 101 ESPN Main Stage The Main Stage was a hub of activity all weekend, featuring free seminars on golf instruction, fitness and more. The seminars included tips on adding distance to your drive, golf fitness and improving your short game. Michelob ULTRA 19th Hole Powered by Walters Golf Managementa Golfers could relax and enjoy an ice cold drink at our 19th Hole, presented by Michelob ULTRA. With golf, football and other weekend sports on the TVs, it s no wonder attendees hung out in the 19th hole all weekend long. Washington University Orthopedics & Barnes-Jewish Hospital Wellness Zone The professionals at the Washington University Orthopedics & Barnes-Jewish Hospital Wellness Zone gave fitness evaluations and advice for keeping healthy and staying in shape, so golfers could maintain and improve their game. Till Vodka Experience New to the show! Attendees stopped by the Till Vodka Experience to play putting games for prizes and to sample Till Vodka and purchase custom cocktails. Till Vodka is American wheat vodka that is crafted with the passion in Atchison, Kansas. Xtreme Green Synthetic Turf Interactive Putting Green Golfers took a roll on a custom putting green built by Xtreme Green Synthetic Turf and enjoyed putting lessons and interactive games throughout the weekend. Kids and Family Day on Saturday! We had a fun day in store for kids at the show on Saturday. Kids activities were featured throughout the show, where they could learn how to improve their golf game, hear from professionals and compete for prizes! Also, all kids received a Passport Card to play interactive games for free and were eligible to win prizes!
