2 Welcome to your Office Olympics Kit Office Olympics are a fun and creative way to raise funds for Solving Kids Cancer! This guide is packed with games ideas, sweepstake resources and templates to make your very own Office Olympics fantastic and memorable. All we ask before the fun gets underway is for each participant to make a donation to support our work and help give hope to children and families affected by childhood cancer. 3 Getting your team excited Get everyone into the spirit of the Games by decorating your office! Assign each desk or group of desks a country and hold a competition to see which individuals or teams can decorate theirs the best in the theme of the country assigned! Reward everyone s hard work by hosting an Opening Ceremony Feast! Ask competitors and supporters to provide a country-specific dish and enjoy the feast together. Raise the stakes by having a cook-off competition! Office Olympics You can give hope to children with cancer Nominate Olympic Ambassadors to do a lap of the building with the Olympic Torch to signify the beginning of your Games! 4 Let the games begin! Choose which of our games ideas you like the most, or let them inspire your own! Shot Put - Lob an eraser into a nearby bin. Closest throw wins. Nerf Shooting - Measure out a 20ft distance from a whiteboard and see who can use their Nerf Guns to fire their bullets the furthest! Archery - Use a rubber band and pinpoint a target on a nearby wall. Closest aim wins! Arm Wrestling - Host different competition categories from light weight to heavy weight. Badminton - Create a ball of paper and use your mouse mat to ping the ball back and forth over the desks. Rowing - Line up your swivel chairs one behind the other. Cross your legs so your feet aren t touching the floor and hold on to the chair in front of you. Together, move forward in unison by rocking back and forth to shuffle forward. Fastest team wins! Javelin - Make a paper aeroplane and see who can throw it the furthest distance. 100m Sprint - Outline the course and race remote controlled cars. Top 3 fastest times win! Long Jump - Create a home-made ramp and put your remote controlled car to the test. Boxing & Volley Ball - Using your Wii or X Box! Table Tennis - You can buy a set online which gives you a net, 3 balls and two bats that you can use on a normal office table. Search for a Table Top Tennis Kit on Amazon. Triathlon - Start with the 100m sprint, followed by 10ft shooting and finish with Archery. 5 Office Olympics templates The Olympic Torch Cut the base of the Olympic Torch out. Roll to form a cone shape and secure with glue (see p.6). 7 Olympic Bunting Decorate your workplace! Cut around the bunting template. Punch holes at the top of your bunting and attach using a piece of string. Page 7

8 Medals Cut out the medals. Mount the medals on card! Tie a piece of ribbon or string through the holes. Page 8
