3 Seawolves shot 13 of 28 from three-point range to come two shy of the program single-game record and one short of their most in a GNAC game. WASHINGTON WINS MAKE FOR PERFECT 10(AND-0): No. 5 UAA stretched a plethora of winning streaks and reached the midpoint of the GNAC schedule with a 10-0 record by beating Seattle Pacific (71-62) and Saint Martin s (78-41) last week in Washington... UAA faced its largest deficit against a D-II opponent since last year s national title game when it trailed at halftime against SPU, but the Seawolves rallied behind a career-high 29 points (11-12 FG) from Sr. F Autummn Williams for their ninth straight win in the series... Sr. PG Kiki Robertson delivered 13 Cloninger points (9-11 FT) and 6 rebounds, while Jr. F Shelby Cloninger (8 points, 4-5 FG, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals) and So. F Hannah Wandersee (7 points, 2-3 FG, 1-1 3FG, 2-2 FT, 6 rebounds) were clutch in a combined 35 minutes off the bench... on Saturday, the Seawolves earned their 12th victory by at least 30 points this season, scoring the first 15 points and leading by double figures for the final 37 minutes against the Saints... II s active career leader in total assists and assists per game, plus No. 2 in total steals and steals per game... the only Hawaiian ever to suit up for the Seawolves, Robertson was the GNAC Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore in FALLING FOR AUTUMMN: Sr. F Autummn Williams has emerged as UAA s latest candidate for major postseason honors, leading the Seawolves and ranking 3rd in the GNAC with 18.8 points and 2.6 steals per game... the transfer from Div. I Little Rock has been UAA s top scorer in 15 of 18 contests, while shooting at least 50 percent 14 times, dishing at least 3 assists 12 times, and grabbing multiple steals 14 Williams times... a two-time GNAC Player of the Week for her play in the fi rst three league games in December, Williams holds additional GNAC ranks of 12th in assists (3.0 apg), 7th in A/T ratio (1.4), 6th in FG% (.527) and 11th in 3FGs per game (1.4)... she is connecting at 60 percent inside the arc, helping her to NCAA D-II national ranks of 34th in FG% and 29th in scoring... Williams s 26.9 minutes per game are also the most averaged by a Seawolf since Kylie Burns logged 30.2 mpg in DEVINE TALENT: Sr. F and team co-captain Alysha Devine is averaging 8.1 points and 1.6 steals per game, boosted by a six double-fi gure scoring efforts and a career-high 7 steals in the seasonopener against CSULA... the Preseason All-GNAC pick ranks 15th in in the league in steals and is the Seawolves 4th-leading scorer and 2nd-leading rebounder (3.8 rpg)... on UAA s career lists, Devine Devine currently sits 30th in scoring (704 pts), 21st in rebounds (440, needs 10 to reach top 20), 17th in 3FG% (.345), 13th in games started (79) and 7th in victories (93)... the Wasilla High product was the 2016 NCAA West Regional Tournament MVP and earned honorable mention All-GNAC as a junior on last year s NCAA Runner-Up squad. VITAL VETS: Of the three non-starters who returned from last year s 38-3 club, all are playing increased roles this season... Jr. F Sierra Afoa is the team s leading rebounder, averaging 4.7 ppg, 4.4 rpg and 1.4 spg, while starting 15 of 18 games... the former Dimond High star has led UAA in rebounding fi ve times this year, including a UAA season-high 10 boards against Chaminade, and she has fi ve games Afoa with 3 steals... So. SG Tara Thompson has also moved into the starting lineup and more than doubled her averages, emerging as the Seawolves 2nd-leading scorer (9.0 ppg) and 5th-leading rebounder (3.4 rpg)... the former Dimond Lynx leads the GNAC with her.446 3FG% and is 3rd in 3FGs per game with 2.5; in the NCAA Div. II national stats, she is 13th in 3FG% and 67th in 3FGs/gm... Thompson has also committed just 9 turnovers all year, while playing the 2nd-most Wandersee minutes (440 total, 24.4 mpg) on the team... whether starting or coming off the bench, So. F/C Hannah Wandersee has has established herself as one most accurate shooters in the GNAC, ranking 4th in the league with a.538 FG%... UAA s 6th-leading scorer and 4th-leading rebounder with 7.3 ppg and 3.3 rpg, she tallied a season-best 17 points against Post and scored 10 in the win at Hawaii-Hilo... after shooting 6 of 9 from the field last week in Washington, the former Kodiak High star has risen to 4th on UAA s career FG% list at.535. IN THE POLLS: The Seawolves are at a season-high No. 5 in the WBCA s NCAA Div.
