The record book was originally compiled by Ken Cole, SID from June, October, Upkeep and further expansion of Drew athletic records is credited to Herb Baer, SID from October, January, 1987; Ann Bready, SID from January, February, 1992; Ernie LaRossa, SID from February, May, 1994; and Jennifer Brauner, SID from August, 1994 to the present. Although records for statistics were not seriously kept until the late 1970s, the records and statistical information contained in this record book are to be considered a true account of statistics for which the athletic department, coaching staff, and sports information office can use for reference when dealing with the media, opponent schools, and the general public. Field Hockey was introduced to the Drew University athletic program in the fall of 1967 and has compiled a record of in 39 seasons of competition. The design and editorial work for the field hockey record book was completed by SID Ernie Larossa.
