The fair board and community worked hard to secure the funds needed to get the DEKKO Grant! I would like to thank you for your patience in advance as the extension staff and committee members navigate the differences in our fair ground buildings. County Fair Cook Shack and Clean Up & Sign-Up Each 4-H member showing at the Union County Fair is REQUIRED to supply one volunteer worker in the concession stand during this year's Fair. This may be the 4-H member themselves if they are 14 and older OR an adult to work in their place if younger than 14. Club Leaders have been contacted to allow your club to pick a time when they might wish to work together. Please check with your individual club leaders to see if this has been done! Then have the club individuals sign up for specific roles or other times if the club time does not work for them. If not then each individual will have the choice to pick a time slot that works for them and a job that they are comfortable doing. This should help start the shifts in a more organized manner. Alternatively for those who do not want to volunteer in the concessions, they can help clean after the fair on Thursday morning, July 26 instead. These need to be older 4-H members or adults as the work will require heavier physical activity and working around skid loaders etc. To use Sign Up Genius go to : unionfair We will be checking at the end of June for anyone not signed up but planning to exhibit at the 2018 Fair to finish sign up. 811 Please N.
