The table should be set properly and the tablecloth, dishes, decorations should all go with your theme. While youth only prepare one item, they should plan a whole meal and present it on a menu card. Youth have a conference with the judge to answer questions about their menu, the nutritional value of their food choices, and their theme. Youth will also be judged on their table setting, appearance of food, and understanding of meal preparation management. You can view examples and a scoring card on our website: 3
