OESRC wrks with the Office f Spnsred Prgrams (OSP) and ther University departments t ensure cmpliance with regulatins prmulgated by the regulatry agencies, including but nt limited t the Department f State, Department f Cmmerce, and the Department f the Treasury. If an exprt assessment determines that an activity is subject t these regulatins, OESRC will assist the affected party in setting up security measures and prtcls needed t ensure cmpliance with exprt and sanctin regulatins thrugh the establishment f a Technlgy Cntrl Plan (TCP) r ther certificatin dcument. The Technlgy Cntrl Plan details the exprt cntrl classificatin, restrictin n release f infrmatin, physical and infrmatin security prtcls, prject persnnel requirements, annual certificatin, and clseut prcedure. Training must be an nging prgram, bth fr new emplyees and experienced persnnel, and when new equipment is used and/r with new experiments are prpsed.
