I really don't like the hot sticky weather, not to mention the JUNE BUGS! However, the beautiful blue skies and sunny days are the best. I enjoy this time because of the sunshine. This month has the longest daylight hours of the year. It is also a popular month for marriages, festivals and celebrations. With plenty of sunshine, warm weather, not to mention, longer daylight hours, the options are limitless to find something to do, places to go and trouble to get into. 2 Associate of the Month Hugh McKernnan has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He was in culinary school for one semester. Before coming to Lakestone, he worked for Wolfgang Puck s and the Princess Cruise Line Hotel in Fairbanks, Alaska!! Hugh is currently enrolled into college for ceramics!! Hugh is one of our cooks, and he is a great asset to our kitchen!! Thanks for all you do, Hugh!! Keep up the great work!! For the month of April Lakestone came away with the WIN!! Way To Go Lakestone Terrace!! Wreath Making with Raeleen For the past few months Philip Ware has offered a drawing for a free meal for participants in his Chair Dancing Class on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. in the bingo room on the 3rd floor.
