Please read all of them carefully ENTRY FEES SA ENTRY FEE NOTE 1 MEDALS R (First Entry) R (Second Entry) 1 st SA Entry Fee for Individuals is R (R R620.00) 2 nd SA Entry Fee for Individuals is R st SA Entry Fee for Kata only is R nd SA Entry Fee for Kata only is R All additional entries fees for Individual or Kata is R each This will be the 2nd Trials for CTJA for the 2019 SA s selection. 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd WEIGH-IN DETAILS Age Groups Weigh-in Times Notes & 10yrs old-girls & Boys Contests will begin as 10h00 10h30 ( between 2009 & 2013) soon as possible after 11yrs 12yrs Girls & Boys ( between 2007 & 2008) 10h00 10h30 GROUPS 3,4, 5, 6 & Masters ( 2006 & earlier) 13h30 14h00 completion of the draw sheets. Coaches to ensure that players fill in the correct entry slip CTJA TOURNAMENT AND SA SELECTION RULES Weigh in times will be strictly adhered to CTJA MANAGERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WEIGH-IN OF ALL PARTICPANTS ALL Officials, Referees T/O Managers Coaches and Weigh-in Masters to please report at 09h30 for an information session All Technical Officials and Referees (Old and New) are requested to officiate at the tournament. Dress code as outlined below Proof of age will be requested. Please bring a copy of your birth certificate with You must weigh-in in the weight category that you want to compete in at the SA s CTJA players This tournament will be the 2 nd Trial Event for selection of the team to participate at the SA Open Tournament in June/July 2019 Orders for clothing will be taken The selection and information letters will be issued at the competition on 4 May These letters must be completed and returned to your club by 15 May A club representative must give all the forms to Simon Shoosmith, the Head Manager for the SA s 2019 (*) Entry fees includes your 1 st Individual SA Entry Fee. If not selected, your R will be returned via your Judo Club

Referees and Technical Officials are welcome to do the same. NOTE: In the event that you cannot attend this tournament and still wish to be in contention for selection, a medical certificate will be required. In this case please make arrangements for the payment of your SA entry fee(s). ORDINARY TOURNAMENT RULES As from Group 3 age and weight categories will be combined if there are less than 3 in an age and weight category Master - categories will be determined based on entries received Parents & Coaches, please stand on the side of the mats opposite the tables and score boards - no parents or coaches are allowed behind the tables at any time No liquids in the Competition area System - Loser's pool and round robin (five or less entrants). 5 JSA TOURNAMENT PARTICIPATION RULES Please note that if a Judoka chooses to enter into more than one category/weight (where applicable), he/she must enter into his/her OWN AGE & WEIGHT CATEGORY first, before entering into a second one! GROUP 9, 10 Years 11, , , 19, & older NATIONAL RANKING EVENTS (1) Own weight/age category only. The only exception that will be made is at last NRE of the year where younger player i.e. (turning 9 the following year) may participate to accumulate points for the next year only.
