3 IMPORTANT NOTE RE: HEALTH INSURANCE Please be advised that under regional Spanish regulations, the standard health cover offered by the state and your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is NOT valid for incidents that occur at Jerez race circuit. This means you are required to have a personal health insurance policy prior to being granted access to the circuit. In order to avoid delays on the day, we are requesting copies of your health insurance policy/schedule/certificate prior to our departure from the UK. We have been advised that, should you be admitted to hospital, you will NOT be treated until proof of insurance (or payment for treatment) has been proven. Hopefully this won t cause too many problems as we would hope most participants already have some form of insurance in place. Also note that this includes any passengers that will be travelling with you. Please, don t forget to also bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), which covers you for any other treatment required during the trip. Page 3 of 25

7 SUGGESTED FLIGHTS To minimise travelling by road, you should aim to fly into Lisbon airport (~30km from Estoril) and fly out of Seville airport (~20km from H). However, all flights to the UK from Seville will involve a transfer at Madrid, Barcelona or Paris (with the exception of London Stansted with Ryanair). If you wish to make use of the BaT transfer service, you should book onto one of the following flights (prices correct at 30 th September 2011 and include taxes). 8 RETURN JOURNEY CHARTER OPTION We have an option on a private jet charter flight from Seville to London, leaving Seville on the Sunday morning. This offers the most convenient return option to the UK, avoiding an early start and the ~2 hour road journey to Faro or Malaga airport. 9 ACCOMMODATION One of the most enjoyable aspects of the 2011 Iberia Trip was having everyone in the same hotels. There was a great atmosphere amongst the clients and staff and we want to encourage this same vibe in To further improve on the interaction and to encourage early friendships to form, we re hosting a welcome reception meal at the Hotel Mirage Cascais on the evening of Sunday 19 th February 2012 at 8pm. At the end of the week, we ll be hosting a finale dinner at the Hacienda La Boticaria near Seville. For those of you who have taken advantage of our hotel package details of where you are staying including full addresses and location maps can be found on the following pages. All three of the hotels we ll be using are exceptional quality, 5-star hotels. Each has been selected to offer something different in an attempt to cater for all preferences. Hotel Mirage Cascais (for Estoril) is an ocean-front hotel with scenic walks along the coast yet all the amenities of a small town. Le Meridien Penina (for Portimao) is a Golf & Leisure resort perfect for a relaxing day off. Hacienda La Boticaria is a resort that blends an immaculate Andalucian setting with world class service. Located 20km from Seville, this exclusive retreat is the home of Spanish thoroughbred horses, an equestrian centre and 5000m² spa with indoor and outdoor pools. IMPORTANT NOTE - Please be aware that any food, drink or room extras purchased at any of the hotels during your stay must be settled on departure. Complete the attached hotel registration forms prior to arrival, as this will speed up the check-in process considerably. We are aware that better deals may be found by using one of the online booking agents such as hotels.com, booking.com or expedia.com. 10 HOTEL MIRAGE CASCAIS Sunday 19 th & Monday 20 th February 2012 (2 nights) The first hotel we visit is situated on the waterfront at the pretty coastal town of Cascais, around 10km from Estoril circuit. The spectacular terrace bar has an infinity pool looking out to the horizon and the food is of exceptionally good quality. Standard rooms face inland, whereas the premium rooms all have a balcony with an ocean view. There is free internet access in every room (wired) and free WiFi in all public areas. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Cascais for anyone wishing to get out and about. The Mirage Cascais is also just a 5 minute walk from the Casino. 11 LE MERIDIEN PENINA Tuesday 21 st to Thursday 24 th February 2011 (3 nights) Located in western Algarve, Portugal, Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort is set within a magnificent 360 acre estate of never ending natural landscape field. Crowned as one of most leisure filled resorts in the Algarve, Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort offers an array of leisure options for enthusiasts. Keen golfers should remember to pack a set of clubs with the car and bring a handicap certificate if you wish to play on the championship course. When travelling from Le Meridien Penina to the circuit turn right out of the gate and head back to the motorway via the A22 Acessos rather than go cross country through Figueira. 12 HACIENDA LA BOTICARIA Friday 24 th & Satuday 25 th February 2012 (2 nights) Those of you who were with us for Iberia 2011 will recall that the only significant criticism of the trip was the rather poor quality of the hotel at Jerez. Having spent many days searching for a more suitable hotel near to the circuit, we ve had to cast our net further afield to find somewhere we feel is in keeping with the other places we re visiting. This has led us to choose the Hacienda La Boticaria, some 95Km from the circuit at Jerez. Hardly on the doorstep, but it s en-route travelling from Portimao and as long as you fly back from Seville or Faro, it s en-route on the way back, too. Only those clients flying back to the UK from Malaga will be travelling out of their way to stay at this hotel. Currently under the Hilton banner, this authentic 5-star Spanish retreat is undergoing a winter makeover and will be rebranded into a Waldorf Astoria by the time we visit in February Hotel Hacienda La Boticaria, Crta. 14 ESTORIL CIRCUIT Monday 20 th February 2012 Opened in 1972, it wasn t until the F1 circus visited in 1984 that the circuit gained trued international recognition. Hosting several Portuguese and European Grand Prix between 1984 and 1996, Estoril has been the site of many memorable F1 races, including Aytron Senna s first F1 victory in a JPS Lotus in the heavy rain in These days, Estoril is more famous amongst the biking fraternity, with MotoGP being the biggest event held at the circuit in modern times. Still used extensively for F1 and other winter testing, we were very lucky to secure the date we have. Negotiations involved us agreeing to permit a number of teams to set up on the same day, restricting us to just a handful of the (albeit quite spacious) garages. Estoril Circuit, Av. 15 AUTODROMO DO ALGARVE Wednesday 22 nd February 2012 Designed to be one of the best and most modern circuits in Europe, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve offers the highest levels of safety and comfort both for drivers and the public. The circuit is more commonly referred to as Portimão and with a massive 64 different possible layouts of the circuit, the configuration we ll be using is the one that has already been approved by the FIA for use in F1. Built at a cost of around 195M, the circuit has been compared to both the Nordschleiffe and Spa-Francorchamps due its constantly undulating topography. It has recently been added to the list of permissible winter testing venues for the F1 teams and as such, we re incredibly lucky to have secured the date. 16 CIRCUITO DE JEREZ Saturday 25 th February 2012 Host to several Spanish and European Formula One Grand Prix in the 80 s and 90 s, Circuit de Jerez is a 4.4km long circuit comprising 13 corners of varying cambers and radius. The last F1 Grand Prix was held in 1997, where Heinz-Harald Frentzen set a lap record time of 1 minute s. The circuit was modified in 1992 to reduce the speeds at the Curva Alex Criville and a new chicane (now known as the Ayrton Senna Chicane) was installed. 18 ADDITIONAL SERVICES Mechanical Support Tyre changing facilities are available at all venues. We strongly recommend that you inform us if you require any work during this trip. If you want your wheels swapping at the end of the day please ensure you have arranged a time slot with our mechanics. We are also able to perform some mechanical tasks including changing of brake pads and car fluids. Please note that we do not carry spares with us so you will need to provide these. Again time slots will need to be arranged with our staff. All of the above services are chargeable. Garages A number of garages have been reserved at each of the circuits. These are not chargeable to customers and are for all drivers to share. In the event of bad weather priority will be given to customers with open top cars. Fuel Estoril Circuit Fuel will be available onsite Portimão Circuit Fuel will be available onsite Jerez Circuit A map to local fuel stations can be found on page 18 Please note that at Estoril and Portimao, all fuel used is invoiced to BookaTrack, so we ask that you bring euro or sterling cash to pay for any fuel to avoid additional credit card charges. Tuition Professional and experienced Grade A ARDS instructors will be present on all three track days. Instruction is recommended to all participants who have not been to the venues before as it not only familiarises you with the venue, but also offers you hints and tips to improve your track driving. Instruction sessions are 30 each and can be arranged by editing your booking or on the day with our staff. Drinks & Snacks Hot and cold drinks and cakes will be providing each day during the trip. This service is complimentary, but we do ask for a small donation that is put towards a Christmas party at the end of the year for our dedicated and hard-working staff. Lunch A light buffet lunch will be provided at each circuit for all drivers and is included in the track day fee. Details of the location of this meal will be available from sign-on each day. We do kindly ask that if you are not joining us for these meals that you inform us ASAP. Please note that if you have any passengers or staff that you would like to join us there will be a charge of 50 / 60 for the 3 days. Page 18 of 25

19 BaT Pics Photography Service There will be two professional motorsport photographers in attendance taking pictures of all participants from various points around the circuits. To ensure viability of the service, we ve included the costs in the track day fees, so you re already paid up to receive a USB stick with your photos from all 3 events. Please ensure your home address is current in your BaT account, as the USB stick will be posted to you on our return to the UK. Please remember to tape-up (or take off) your number plate if you don t want to be spotted at the circuit as all images are uploaded to our website unedited Car Transportation For your convenience, we offer a car transportation service whereby your car is taken fully insured by enclosed car transporter from the UK to Portugal, on to Spain and finally back to the UK. Several trucks will be travelling from the UK from departure points at Donington Park and St Albans. Exact pricing will depend on the size and weight of your car, as well as any wheels/tyres and tools that need to be carried. Prices start at 1350 for a Caterham-sized car with luggage inside the cockpit, up to 1490 for larger cars with a separate set of wheels & tyres. At least one of the trucks will be routing via France (rather than going direct to Santander), meaning there s availability for European clients to have their cars transported too. Page 19 of 25

20 TRACK DAY FORMAT See track day itinerary on page 4 for briefing times. There will be no sessions - the events will be open pit lane all day. You are advised to pace yourself and your car, particularly early on in the day so as not to cause unnecessary wear to the tyres and / or brakes. Also bear in mind the mixture of abilities and performance of cars that will be using the circuit and drive accordingly. Novice drivers may be less observant, less aware and far slower than regular track day drivers. BookaTrack.com Ltd cover public Liability Insurance, but this precludes any form or timing or competitive driving. Any persons caught driving competitively or using timing equipment will be removed from the circuit without warning and no refund will be due. Although all three circuits benefit from no noise restrictions, please advise us if your vehicle exceeds 105dB drive by. SAFETY BRIEFING SUMMARY Standard motorsport flags will be used on the day (though these may be substituted with lights the colours will be the same) as follows: Used when a car, debris or other object is causing a hazard on the circuit (often a car spinning), and this hazard can be removed quickly with minimal disruption and in complete safety. Please slow down and be in complete control of the car. This is shown when the session must end due to a hazard that cannot be removed quickly and safely. Please return to the pits very slowly. Used to show a participant that there is a faster car approaching. Participants must indicate and move over to the appropriate side of the track on the next available straight. To be used when a participant is driving discourteously or has a mechanical problem with their vehicle. Participants must come straight into the pit lane for an explanation. Used to indicate the end of the session. Only shown twice (once before lunch and once at the end of the day). Page 20 of 25

21 Overtaking rules are as follows :- 1) Overtake on the straights only, not under braking and not round corners. 2) Overtake on the LEFT only. 3) Overtake BY CONSENT ONLY. This means the car in front must have clearly indicated and pulled over to the right before any overtaking manoeuvre can be made. If the car in front is not indicating, assume they have not seen you. 4) Powerful cars are expected to lift off the throttle on the straights to allow the less powerful cars to pass before the braking zone. If these rules are obeyed, then car-to-car contact is impossible and the only element of danger is your own driving. Finally, remember to do a cool down lap each time before you return to the pits and avoid using the handbrake when parked up. General Notes No hand-held cameras are allowed. All cameras must be securely mounted. Slick tyres are not permitted without adequate roll-over protection. Please ensure you have your towing-eye fitted before venturing out on track. All participants must have covered arms and legs when out on track All drivers must have a full road license (race license is not a valid substitute) Strictly no timing. No passengers under 16 years are allowed out on track or in the pit lane. Passengers between 16 and 18 years old must have a parent / guardian onsite at all times and they must counter sign their disclaimer. Please note that any crash damage caused to Armco or tyre barriers is chargeable to the customer and must be settled with the venue directly before leaving the venue. Page 21 of 25

I wish to drive cars and/or otherwise participate in the above event organised by BookaTrack.com Ltd (BaT). I declare:- That I hold (or have passed the required examinations to hold) a full licence entitling me to use on the public roads a vehicle of the type I will be using on the track. I will satisfy myself before taking part (by sighting lap or otherwise) that the venue and track is acceptable to me with regard to its features and physical layout (unless prohibited to do so). By taking part I accept the risks involved including the risk of damage, loss, personal injury or death. I declare that I am competent to take part, that I am fit and healthy and that my eyesight (with lenses if required) is adequate for track use.
