Check out a bike from any station with your credit card or B-card. Ride: keep each ride under 30 minutes to avoid extra usage fees. Each additional half hour costs $2. Return: return your bike at any B-station. Repeat: access any bike at the kiosk. Take an unlimited number of trips during your access period. Need a bike longer? Check it in at any station and take it right back Sponsors provide: Long-term operation funding for the program, including outreach and education efforts to build a safe and accessible program for the whole community The necessary resources to expand to new areas and new potential member markets Positive word-of-mouth to employees and customers 2

3 Corporate Membership Provide a wellness amenity for your employees. Several options are available - subsidize individual annual memberships or cover the whole workforce. Memberships are discounted over 20% on 15+ group orders. Our customers reported many health effects of riding B-cycle, including improved mood, improved fitness, reduced stress, weight loss, and improved energy level. These benefits can positively impact work performance. Sponsorship Opportunities Stations Branded stations are located in high-traffic, high-visibility areas. Place logos on the kiosk and station poster, and receive recognition on the print map, website, and smartphone app. Sponsor an available existing station or host a new station at a location of your choosing. SPONSOR SUMMARY Bikes Bike sponsorship is branding in motion. Users return bikes to any station after use, so logos travel throughout the system. Sponsor 10 to 125 of the bikes for two years at a time. Bike Share Sponsorship Value Bike share is an opportunity to connect with people, rather than simply a chance for name recognition. A branded utility provides the public with a positive way to talk about a brand. Bike share presents an opportunity to position your business with a positive public amenity. As of 2011, 93% of those surveyed associated Barclay s with London s bike share, and 32% had a more favorable opinion of Barclay s than before. New York s Citibike is already paying off for Citi Bank: an internal review revealed a 17 point jump in favorable impression of Citi. A University of Minnesota study found that bike share users in Minneapolis spent a projected $150k more per year due to new bike share trips. Bike share program surveys reveal that that employees that use bike share have lost weight from the resulting exercise, saved money on parking and gas, and felt noticeably better throughout the day from activity. The trend of bike share is booming: In Philadelphia, bike share is still in the planning stages, but businesses are already asking for new stations at their locations. Bike sponsorship garners impressions from bikes on the move as well as from bikes parked at stations. It is estimated that on average, 40-60% of docks will contain a bike at any given time. B-cycle is available to consumers year-round. Ridership in future years is expected to mirror the experience of comparable bike share systems in previous years with significant growth in the number of memberships purchased and bike trips taken per year. 4

9 1. Employee Discount Program 2. Corporate Membership Program Your company subsidizes the cost of an Annunal Membership for employees. You decide how much of the $65 fee you want to underwrite, and individual employees pay the balance. It is very similar to underwriting transit passes or parking fees. Your company buys the Annual Memberships and offers them as benefit at no cost to the employees. We offer discounts to lower the cost to your organization. The discount increases as you buy more memberships and/or cover a higher percentage of your workforce. Corporate Members recieve special recognition on our web site, public relations, and social media. CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP Implementation Both options are easy implement by simply sharing your unique organizational Promo Code with your employees. Each employss signs up individually and recieves the appropiate discount based on your decision. Everyone recieves an individual B-card for access to the system and an online account to manage and see their usage. The B-card is your key to bike share. Promotion and Education Kansas City B-cycle will work with you to promote the program and educate your employees with newsletters, corporate events, and more. Our nationally-certified cycling instructors can even provide on-site bicycle skills and safety training. Integrate with Corporate Wellness and Sustainability Programs Each month we provide a report on your employees usuage, health impact, and sustainablilty impact: 1. Calories burned 2. Rides taken 3. Carbon offset Additional Information Internal promotion to employees is provided as part of the Corporate Partner Program. Organizations that participate in the Employer Partner or Membership Discount Programs are recognized on the BikeWalkKC website and in social media promotions. Employers that purchase membership for 100% of their workforce or subsidize 100% of the cost of membership are included in a special social media campaign for their participation. 9
