1 ALCESTER POLICE SOUTH AND NORTH JOINT WEEKLY REPORT Sunday 24 th September 2017 Alcester Police South SNT. Latest Update. Sunday 24th September 2017 ALCESTER *Damage. St Faiths Road, Alcester. Scratch made in the side of car. Made with key or similar object. Between 22nd & 23rd September /09/2017 *Theft. Store, Alcester. Male walks into the store with a trolley and takes four bottles of alcohol off the shelf. He then conceals the bottles in his jacket before staggering out of the store without offering payment. Two bottles of Martel Cognac and two bottles of Jack Daniels, totalling 94. 3pm Sunday 10th September. Reported 21st September /09/2017 *Theft X 3. Store, Alcester. Three incidents of theft by the same offender. Male has entered the store and has stolen bottles of alcohol each time. 1 Fourteen Bottles totalling pm Tuesday 12th September. 2 Nine Bottles totalling pm Friday 15th September. 3. Eight Bottles totalling am Monday 18th September. Full details passed to police. Reported 21st September /09/2017 *Suspicious Circumstances. Crooks Lane, Alcester. Teenage Girl approached by a male asking if she was local and whether she knew where the nearest Sainsbury s was. Male described as white, 30 s, bald, wearing tracksuit bottoms. Approx. 3.30pm Wednesday 20th September. Reported 21st September /09/2017 *Suspicious Circumstances. Kinwarton Road, Alcester. Teenage Girl approached by a male asking for her mobile number and other personal questions. Male described as white, about 24 years, 5 9, dark hair, stubble, chubby build, wearing a white t-shirt. Male was in a silver / Grey car. 3.45pm Wednesday 20th September. Reported 21st September /09/2017 *Suspicious Circumstances. School Road, Alcester. Teenage Girl approached by a male asking directions to Morrison s. He then continued to ask more personal questions. Male described as white, Mid 30 s, short brown hair, 6, large build, wearing jeans and navy-blue polo shirt with white stripes on the collar. Male was in a dark grey small car. Approx. 3.50pm Wednesday 20th September. Reported at 6.55pm 20th September /09/2017 *Theft. Store, Alcester. Male, female and child walk into the store with a trolley. The male selects bottles of alcohol off the shelf which he puts into the trolley. The female then covers the bottles with other items. The male then walks out of the store without offering payment, followed by the female and child. 1.30pm Wednesday 13th September. Reported 19th September /09/2017 DUNNINGTON *Suspicious Circumstances. B4088 between the Exhall and Broom areas. Female jogger approached by male in car who made comments about her running technique. Male described as Black, years, large build, large head. Driving a Silver people carrier with AK in the registration number. Between 7pm and 7.30pm Monday 18th September. Reported 19th September /09/2017
2 GREAT ALNE *Burglary Residential (Car Key Burglary). Nightingale Close, Great Alne. Resident of house found three men hiding in the garden. They have then threatened the householder with crowbars and forced them back in the house while demanding car keys. Two sets of keys were found and subsequently a Silver Mini and a Grey Audi RS5 were stolen from the drive and driven towards Studley. The offenders were described as three big white males, wearing masks, all with a Liverpool accent. 9.45pm Tuesday 19th September /09/2017 PATHLOW *Poaching. Featherbed Lane, Pathlow. Three males with five lurchers seen on private lane. Males were in a Blue Honda CR-V with a registration number ending in NAM. Full details passed to police. 8.50am Wednesday 20th September /09/2017

Report of 5 males smashing bottles in the road pm Friday 22nd September /09/2017 *Anti-Social Behaviour. The Grove, Studley. Group of four teenagers seen passing a small box around and each taking a sniff. 4.40pm Friday 22nd September /09/2017 *Theft / Damage. Alcester Road, Studley. Flower tubs turned over and emptied. Small wooden square tub with plants in also stolen. Overnight 21st & 22nd September /09/2017 WOOTTON WAWEN *Suspicious Circumstances. Wootton Wawen village. Black Mercedes AMG seen to drive around property. The driver got out and knocked the door then looked around the back. Driver described as a Black Male, black hair and beard, wearing orange trousers and black army boots. No offences disclosed. 6.30pm Wednesday 20th September /09/2017 *Burglary Residential. Wawensmere Road, Wootton Wawen. Offenders have thrown a rock through a patio window gaining access to the house, which they have then searched. They have then stolen a safe from inside the premises, carrying it to a small silver car parked at the end of the drive. The car drove off towards Morton Bagot. 2.10pm Monday 18th September /09/2017 HENLEY *Burglary Business. Henley Road, Henley. Metal sheeting pulled from the rear of a Barn. Possibly with the intention to gain access. Nothing stolen. Between 21st & 22nd September /09/2017 *Damage. Arden Road, Henley. Metal fence damaged between two gardens. Two young males were seen in the area at the time. 5pm Friday 22nd September /09/2017 *Suspicious Circumstances. Arden Road, Henley. Male going door to door selling items from a large bag. He said to be just out of prison and trying to earn some money. He became abusive to one householder when told that they did not want to buy anything am Friday 22nd September /09/2017
4 *Suspicious Circumstances. A3400, Liverage Hill. Two males from a Volvo car seen to go to the gate of building site and urinate. Caller believes they may have been looking at the building site. 4.30pm Thursday 21st September. Reported on 22nd September /09/2017 *Vehicle Crime - Theft from. New Road, Henley. Side door of Ford Transit Van forced open and items stolen, including battery packs, drill, Sat Nav, phone and two pairs of work boots. Overnight 18th & 19th September /09/2017 *Suspicious Circumstances. High Street, Henley. Male entered shop and sat in waiting area. When challenged he said he was waiting for someone else also in the premises. This was checked and not the case. The male then left. He was described as a black male, 20's, short braided hair, wearing steel cap boots, black anorak, black combat trousers, and a green and black rucksack pm Monday 18th September /09/2017 EARLSWOOD *Fly Tipping / Fire. Malthouse Lane, Earlswood. A van has turned up at the location and emptied out a large amount of rubbish from the back. A male from the van has then set the rubbish on fire. 7.40pm Friday 22nd September /09/2017 *Drugs. Valley Road, Earlswood. Vehicle stopped by police patrol. Passenger given a street caution for possession of a Class B drug - cannabis am Thursday 21st September /09/2017 TANWORTH *Theft. Broad Lane, Tanworth. Aluminium Double deck car transporter trailer stolen. Worth approx Overnight 21st & 22nd September /09/2017 *Suspicious Circumstances. Broad Lane, Tanworth. Two males wearing balaclavas seen running towards Prospect Lane pm Thursday 21st September. Reported 22nd September /09/2017 *suspicious Circumstances. Bates Lane, Tanworth. Drone seen flying over private property. 4.30pm Thursday 21st September /09/2017 ULLENHALL *Theft. Mount Pleasant Lane, Ullenhall. Large padlock removed from yard gate. Unknown persons have then driven onto the land causing damage to a grassed area. Overnight 19th & 20th September /09/2017
5 *Suspicious Circumstances. Ullenhall. Two males in a Peugeot vehicle drove onto private premises and when challenged said they were police officers and quickly showed some ID. They drove off when asked more questions about why they were there. Details of vehicle passed to police. Further enquiries being made by the Team. 12 midday Tuesday 19th September /09/2017 BEOLEY *Suspicious Circumstances. Tanworth Lane, Beoley. White van with Irish number plates seen in the lane. Occupants possibly looking for scrap metal. 8.40am Friday 22nd September /09/2017 CLAVERDON *Theft. Station Road, Claverdon. Copper wiring taken from skip on private land. Offenders may have been in a white transit van that was seen in the area. Daytime Monday 18th September /09/2017 HOCKLEY HEATH *Suspicious Circumstances. Pound House Lane, Hockley Heath. Silver Fiat car seen in the Lane acting suspiciously. Last three letters of registration number were 'OJY'. Full details passed to police. 10pm Thursday 21st September /09/2017 *Suspicious Circumstances. Green Road / Pig Trott Lane, Hockley Heath. Blue Fiat seen in the area acting suspiciously. 9.45pm Thursday 21st September /09/2017 *suspicious Circumstances. Sadlerswell Lane, Hockley Heath. Car parked in the lane with several occupants. Caller reporting as this is unusual for this area. Described as an 'oldish car' with a registration number containing DSU or FSU. 5pm Thursday 21st September /09/2017
