There will be a Special Talent Score Sheet Only Showcase on Sunday Afternoon June 15 th to use the actual stage you will compete on later in the week. I will have separate expert judges for this event to give you great critiques sheets that will serve as a tremendous warm up for State. The prestigious Cameo Girl Competition will be held Sunday June 15 th, 2008 Cameo Girl using different judges & has critique sheets (which you get right after) & can serve as a great warm-up for state. They have no bearing on the outcome of the Nevada State Cinderella State Finals. The Nevada State Cinderella Baby & Prince Charming Competition will be held in conjuction with the Nevada State Open Prelim. On April 12 th, 2008 in Las Vegas. (This is for girls 0-35 months and boys 0-6 years) Now is the time to start fundraising and securing those sponsors to help finance your room and housing expenses. 13 1. CINDERELLA GIRL SORORITY: All Cinderella Girls are invited to participate in the Cinderella Girl Sorority see that particular Handbook for details. Certificates will be given out in each division for girls who have participated this year in the Cinderella Girl Sorority Program. For those girls completing the 12 month process each year they will be given an Special Cinderella Charm to add to their French Charm braclette. The first year will be a Cinderella Slipper. There will be a different charm for each year of participation. 2. GAS CREDIT If you get your entry and total monies due (except for advertising if you re doing that) in by April 15, 2008 you will get an additional $25.00 off your entry to use for Gasoline. THIS ONLY APPLIES TO ANYONE LIVING OVER 120 MILES FROM LAS VEGAS. 3. A SCORESHEET TALENT SHOWCASE will be held on Sunday June 15 th, 2008 at Sam s Town in the afternoon. See enclosed entry form. This is the same stage you will be competing your preliminary talent on so it gives you an excellent time to practice your talent onstage prior to Cinderella State. So plan on coming and performing your talent then. I will have expert judges to give you critique to fine tune your talent even better for state. 4. CAMEO GIRL will be Sunday Evening before Cinderella State and has it s very own separate judges, different than Cinderella State Judges It s an opportunity to see how your daughter looks under the actual lights she will be competing on later in the week and possibly get one of those prestigious Cameo Crowns and Banners. 5. STATE DRESS All participants are asked to have the Official Nevada State Blue & Yellow Sundress. This will be worn at Orientation and at Rehearsal, as well as if you proceed onto the International Finals. Material & patterns are available at preliminarys and by ing me or calling me to mail it to you ) or cinderellanevada@cox.net. If you choose not to do this it is okay, just wear what you want then. (It will not be held against you) 6. AAMTC (America s Amateur Modeling & Talent Competition) will be held on Memorial Day Weekend May 24, 2008 and will include a Mom s category basically a 26 year old and older category. Also Boys can compete in any of the talent categories in the same age groups for Talent, but in Modeling there will only be two age categories See Entry Form. 7. TALENT TIMES ARE 2 ½ MINUTES MAX 2 Minutes is recommended. You will be disqualified from Top 5 and Overall if your talent is even 1 second over. 8. Make sure you bring extra copies of your talent tape or CD with you. (3 copies is best) If you are recording music from your computer or wherever record it slower as fast dubbings are hard for CD players to read. Use a professional to do your recording, after all you are spending lots of time and money on your talent, so do a good job with the music too. It actually does affect the judging process. 9. ADVERTISING You can earn your way to State by selling additional advertising for the program book as well as qualify for the coveted Cover Girl Winner in each Age group. NOTE AD PHOTOGRAPHS CANNOT BE OVER 5 X SECRET SISTER You ll be given a name in early June from your own Age Division, so don t forget to get inexpensive gifts for her. (limit 6 gifts i.e. something for interview, casualwear, partywear, talent/tot personality, Grand Finals and the Cinderella Celebration Party). 11. PHOTO SIZE For Cinderella your photo can still be black and white or color but it now needs to be 4 x 6. This should be a lot easier to obtain from photographers.
