3 Check-in CHECK-IN At the check-in you will receive: v Your wristband. Please wear this the entire weekend (Friday night included) v A free bottle of water v A sticker with your name to personalize your water bottle. Re-use your bottle the entire weekend v Vegetarian food tickets, for special diet, no tickets needed v Crazy Swing money to play at the Casino Camp facilities INTERNET v There are 3 computers equipped with Internet connection free to use in the main hall v There is free Wi-Fi in the main hall 2

4 PARKING TAXI MONEY v Parking on the domain is only allowed on the designed parking places (capacity of 50 cars) and in the street in front of the camp. v If you d like to book a Taxi you can call: à Taxi Vert à Taxi Sparta Halle v There is no ATM on site SMOKING v No smoking inside the buildings! Please smoke outside at the designated smoking areas 3

5 CLOAKROOM v There are hangers in the main hall for your jackets. Crazy Swing does not take any responsibility for your belongings ACCOMMODATION v Standard there won t be any key to lock the rooms. However, there s one key per room available at the check-in desk. To get the key you have to leave your identity card as a deposit. In that case the room members need to arrange to share the key. Please return the key to Geneviève or Elise in order to get your deposit back v Hanenbos is situated at 3 minutes by car from the camp. Use this adres to find your way: Lotsesteenweg 103, 1653 Dworp à CHECK-OUT rooms o Leaving on Sunday: please vacate your room before 7:30PM. You can drop your luggage in the luggage room which is situated at the left side when you enter the main building. o Leaving on Monday: please vacate your room before 9AM. At the camp, upon leaving your room, please take off all bed linen and pillowcases and put them on a pile in the middle of the room. In Hanenbos put them in the box where you did find your sheets. 4

6 Restaurant & Bars RESTAURANT Dinner on Friday is included only for participants registered for Solo or Blues workshop. Lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday are included for participants registered for the Lindy hop workshop. v All meals are served in the restaurant v The kitchen is strictly on schedule, so make sure to be there on time v The restaurant is only open during meal times v You stand in the queue (including vegetarians), unless: o o You had food but want a refill J You have a special diet other than vegetarian à In those 2 cases, you go to the «extra food counter» v You are not allowed to bring your own food or drinks on the premises FREE COFFEE BREAK The free coffee/tea break is situated in the basement of the restaurant building from 1:30PM to 2:30PM and from 3:30PM till 4:00PM. 5

7 BAR IN THE MAIN HALL Bar open at 7:30PM on Friday and at 10:00AM on Saturday and Sunday. We work with drink-cards which are for sale at the ticket booth at the entrance of the Piano room in the main hall or during the day at the bar. Of course, you can also buy just 1 drink. We are using a deposit system. When you order a drink, you give 1 deposit. You can keep using your cup, bottle or glass by trading it in when you order a new drink or get your deposit back by trading it at the bar. It s not allowed to bring your drinks into the dancing rooms. This includes also the Piano Room during the parties. Please have your drinks in the main hall or at the bar. However, you can bring your plastic water bottles inside at all times. You can refill at either the water taps in the restaurant or at the taps in your room or at the bar. SNACKS v There will be some small snacks (chips, nuts, etc.) at the bar v You can buy snacks and drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) at all times at the vending machines that are situated in the Restaurant building, on the ground floor and in the basement (next to the entrance of the coffee break bar). If you don t have coins, there s a money exchange machine to change bank notes to 1 coins 6

8 Auditions Each group has a wristband with a different color corresponding to the level. It is obligatory to wear your wristband all weekend long. The organizers will check them regularly. AUDITION SYSTEM for Hearts & Diamonds strictly Level Hearts and Diamonds are the most successful levels at Crazy Swing Camp this year and we can therefore make 2 groups of each levels. Each level will be split in order to make 2 homogeny groups. à Diamonds 1, Diamonds 2: on Saturday at 10:30am in dance room Piano à Hearts 1, Hearts 2: on Saturday at 11am in dance room Sax NO AUDITION SYSTEM for Ace, Spades & Clubs 7

9 Tasters The Tasters classes is where you can try something different related most of the time to swing dances. You can join any taster, any level you want; you don t need to register, just jump in the dance room J To help you choose we give an indication of the level but you can join any level you want from Easy - Open to Challenge! Parties 3 crazy evenings! Shake your legs and jump into the Casino world. Live bands on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, top DJ s, an excellent dance floor are the ingredients for a magnificent party. Open your drawers, dig in your favorite vintage shop and shine all night long. Parties and show time will take place in the Piano room, in the main hall. 8

10 Entertainment CASINO NIGHT On Saturday night the venue will be changed into a Casino. You will be able to gamble a few hours in the evening (10PM till 1AM). There are tables to play with croupier. You can use the Crazy Swing money you received at the check-in and there will be a nice price to win Curious? VINTAGE CLOTHING - VIN SINN They offer a fine selection of items for men and women, including clothing, shoes, accessories, gifts and much more. Suitable for Lindy Hop, Balboa, Charleston and Collegiate Shag dancers. They are dedicated to following vintage trends, creating new vintage looks, and providing you with an excellent and wide-ranging collection. Here at ViNSiNN you will find vintage-style clothing that allows freedom of movement and is very suitable for dancing. 9

11 HAIRSTYLING & MAKE-UP Only on Saturday between 8PM and 11PM. Miss Coco s Retro Hair and Beauty Parlor takes you back into time! Genuine hair styling from the 30 s & 40 s. You will lindy Hop all night long and your hair and make-up will stay perfect! Registrations happened via Doodle in advance. The payment has to be due at the check-in on Friday. Price: 10 hairstyling 5 make-up. MASSAGE You can indulge in a massage from Jean-Marie or Audrey. Massage on a chair or table (in main hall) or massage on a table (in a private room). Registrations necessary at the massage corner during the weekend. Price: 15 for 15 minutes. 10

12 Camp rules v Please only wear appropriate indoor shoes! High-heels or shoes that could mark the floor are NOT allowed. Crazy Swing Feet on the Road vzw/asbl does not cover the costs of damage caused by wearing inappropriate shoes during classes, or any other damage to the facilities of the camp caused by any reason whatsoever. v It is NOT allowed to bring food or drinks on the Destelheide domain (not in the classes, the sleeping rooms, the building ). You can however bring your water bottle you will receive at the check-in and refill it during all the weekend. v Drinking IN the party/dance places with glasses is NOT allowed. Only your water bottle will be allowed there. v Recording of teaching contents / lesson structures and workshop summaries require approval of the teachers. v Every participant will get a wristband and will have to wear it at all times. The wristband is your way in for everything. v Not any form of psychologically hostile/offensive behavior will be tolerated. Offenders will be immediately dismissed from the camp. v All images are subject to copyright and are the property of Crazy Swing (Feet on the Road vzw/asbl). Prior to duplication of material or use by third parties, permission from Crazy Swing Camp must be obtained. Participants accept being photographed or filmed during 11

13 the camp as well as the use and publication of such recordings for the purposes of public reporting on the event or of marketing of the services offered on our website and social media. v See the other rules on the website.
