3 The Mooseletter VOLUME 5, ISSUE 6 June 2018 Brothers and Co-Workers, It's June and the summer is upon us. The temperatures on are on the rise, as well as gas prices, so you know summer is right around the corner. There is so much happening at the lodge, and so many activities planned, please watch your calendar, join the Facebook group, and get involved, we hope we have something for everyone. The first order of business is to announce the Election of Officers for the LOOM, it will be held during the membership meeting, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 7 pm, with installation to follow. Please make every effort to attend. On Friday, June 8, 2018, we will host our Member Appreciation/Member Retention Night, it will be a night full of free food, drinks, and games. There will be give a ways and so much fun, come and join us. There are numerous other activities planned as well as we are working on the calendar for the remainder of the year. We have some very exciting things in the works, don't miss out come and join us. As always you have a say in this lodge a member, so please attend meeting, participate in events, and be proud to be a member of our lodge. If we work together there is nothing we can not accomplish. I and my staff wish to thank each and everyone for their support. We have seen more and more families bringing in their children making us a true family center, and it is what we are all about. Programming Note...Our Hours of Operations, will be changing as of June 1, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturdays we will open at 4PM and close at 10PM, ***note these are changes in times*****, Fridays will remain 3PM to Midnight, and Sundays 12PM to 8PM, we will be monitoring Sundays, and may make the decision to close on Sundays, we will keep you informed of any further changes. We appreciate your understanding, but based on current business these changes are what is best for our lodge. Thank you to all my volunteers who made the Summer Kick Off Party a huge success, it was a great day and fun was had by all and I thank each and everyone of you. If it was not for the support and dedication of the WOTM, we would have never made it thru the day, you ladies stuck with me thru the heat, and the rain. From the bottom on my heart, a sincere thank you to everyone. There is so much planned in June. Check your calendar and check the flyers for information. Here is a quick summary, Sat. June 2 District 9 Chili Cook-off, Fri. June 8 Member Appreciation/Member Retention Night sponsored by NewMarket Entertainment. There are numerous other activities I have in the works and more information will be coming. Greetings Co-workers What a learning experience I have had so far this month. There is so much to learn being a Sr. Regent as it is for every new officer this year.

Even more so to Sharon Loving who ended up being our cook when our normal cook couldn t be there. My steak was perfect Sharon!! You need to add fast order cook to your resume.

! When those of you that can, please come in and show your support for our Social Quarters manager, because without his support we have nothing. Eddie works so hard to find things for our lodge to do.

If you didn t, you missed a great band. Ron is so down to earth and a great singer. Don t forget that District 9 is having a Chili Cook-off on June 2 at our lodge. It will be an all day event.
