Directory Changes Ron & Huguette Guay Beverly/Ethel/Ed Murphy From the President As you all know General Meetings held on the first Monday of the month are cancelled for the months of June, July and August. However the Board of Directors will still be meeting on the third Monday of the month during this time in order to discuss and/or solve any problems that may arise. As the 4 th of July rapidly approached us we all should take a moment and enjoy the freedom that we have. As a reminder the 1 st Annual Board of Directors cookout is fast approaching. Please pickup your tickets by June 26 th. Hope to see everyone there. The Florida legislature, (House & Senate), have made changes to Florida Statute 723 The Florida Mobile Home Act which will take effect 1 July These changes will cause a delay in the re-writing of our bylaws. Two of the major changes are: (1) Quorum; voting requirements; proxies.- unless otherwise provided in the bylaws, 30 percent of the total membership is required to constitute a quorum. At present it is 50% +1 of membership for a quorum. Continues Page 2

2 From the President (Continued) (2) except that no proxy, limited or general, may be used in the election of board members.
