7 Greetings to Our Grand Valley Family The Kingsbury s would like to than our HOA and the Heilers for sponsoring the community dinner on November 3rd. The food was excellent. We met neighbors we have not had the opportunity to meet since we moved into the community. The pool area, the clubhouse, the pavilion and the fire pit were filled with neighbors. The entire evening was a huge success. We look forward to future events. Again thank you for making this event possible. Louie & Denise Joan Meagher donated several baskets to your social committee. We would like to create gift baskets for raffles or door prizes and are looking for donations to fill them. Ideas for basket themed items are: Movie night, Spa & Relaxation, Cooks Delight, Wine, Chocolate and Italian dinner items. The ideas are endless. Donations can be dropped off at the next social committee meeting on December 6th at 10am. Veteran s Day was a huge success thanks to the wonderful people living in this community. We filled the clubhouse with Veterans and friends, and families of the residents. Thanks to Ann & Angelo Petrone for donating door prizes. Thank you to Boni Wilson Skinner for donating the beautiful military print that was raffled. Rose Parker Was the big winner. $ will be donated to the homeless vets in the name of The Grand Valley Residents and Boni Wilson Skinner. Thanks to Frank Parnell for leading us in prayer and to Phil Corbin for leading is with the National Anthem. Thanks to Frank & Ollie and guests for cooking and serving the delicious corn on the cob. Thanks to Sallie Goodrow & Brent Bottorff for cooking the hot dogs and burgers. Thanks to Jo Ann Nadeau, Dottie Brooks and Barbara Bell for setting up and serving. Thanks to Donna Parker for caring for raffle tickets and door prize tickets and thanks to all who helped in the clean up. A special thanks to my husband Lou, he is my biggest cheerleader and supporter. If I ve missed anyone, I apologize. You all have our sincerest thanks and gratitude. This was a huge undertaking for us to take on in a short span of time. We would not have succeeded without the help and kindness of our Grand Valley family. The Missing Man s Table will be completed and placed in the Veteran s Corner soon. Photos on the Wall of Honor will be updated. We are proud to be part of the Grand Valley community and family. Lastly, thank you today and every day to our Veterans. Louie & Denise Kingsbury
