FIGHTING ceased when an armistice between Allied Nations and Germany on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. November 11, 1918 is generally regarded as the end of the war to end all wars. We will be HONORING ALL WHO SERVED with our Flag Ceremony on 11/11 Hours (3:00 pm) and Buffet w/ ice cream Social to follow. Congratulations to Joe and Kathy as they united together in marriage. Thank you both for including your CVI family in your most special occasion. Cheers to Joe and Kathy. The Halloween Party seems to bring out some different personalities in our members. I hope all had a great time. Our current roof is 20+ years old and has been patched numerous times. The damage is wear and tear not much from the recent Hurricane Irma. We are getting quotes for repairs needed so our Club can be around for the next 20 years. The proceeds from our upcoming Fall Festival will be going toward the roof repairs and we will be planning future FUN fund Raisers to help with the cost.
