2 Bills: Bills for the Grand Masters visit, including rent/food from the Scottish Rite Valley of Orlando for the Grand Masters Visit, and disbursements relating to the serving at the District Visit to Bahia DeMolay, Orange Rainbow, Pine Castle Rainbow, and South Seminole DeMolay which came out of the money collected at the tables.. Correspondence: Thank you letter from M:. W:. Richard Lynn for our donation to the First Ladies project Thank you letter from W:. Mark Rathman for donation taken at last meeting Sickness and Distress: Elaine Hecke - surgery Linda Avery cancer surgery Sean White - surgery Bill Miller - surgery W:. Old Business: M&Ws Golf Tournament is scheduled for 11/8 at the Kissimmee Bay Country Club. Registration at 730am, tee off at 830am. Flyer attached to these minutes. Lodges requested to make 1 team per lodge and to sponsor at least 1 hole. Elections will be held in December. In order to vote you must be paid up on your 2014 AND 2015 dues by our November meeting. Dues paid in December will not allow you to vote. See our secretary to see if you are paid up. Invoices to lodges for Grand Masters Visit to be billed soon. Price to lodges was $1.30 per person. New Business: W:. M:. Guenter Sommer brought up that you can ask Hiram s Daylight Lodge if you can present a 50 year certificate at their meeting if you have a Brother who can t come out at night, but still wants to receive Grand Honors. 3 R:. W:. Larry Williamson handed out the last remaining certificates for those who helped setup/tear down at Grand Lodge and reminded the Brothers to help again next year. W:.M:. Scott Roberts brought up that he is planning on writing legislation for the next Grand Lodge session to allow Lodges to open and conduct business in the Entered Apprentice Degree. Anyone interested in being a part of the process or helping to make sure it is written and technically correct, please see him. Corona s Cigar Club meeting on Sunday after Masters and Wardens followed by lunch at Cricketers pub. R:. H:. Donald Goolsby suggested more Lodges utilize the District 17 calendar, especially for Degrees to avoid conflicts. There is a way to submit events through the website, or you can the M&W Secretary. 7 For next year s visits, he will not be reading the GMs message Recommended the Lodges form a District Degree team again for the competition M&Ws Golf Tournament wants each lodge to get at least 1 team together. If you don t golf, offer to help Bro. Ed Smallwood with planning and other jobs needed The 17 th Dist set the standard in GM Visits across the states. In order to keep it up, he recommended the M&Ws association appoint a committee to look into creating fund raisers to help pay for the visit next year so the Lodges aren t assessed extra money.
