SCOTT ROVNIAK, ASSISTANT BAND DIRECTOR DESTINATION: ORLANDO, FLORIDA DATES: MARCH 21-26, 2018 UPDATED ITINERARY AS OF AUGUST 22, :00 AM (4) Deluxe, 56 passenger motor coaches from Barons Bus Lines ( ) will arrive at Westlake High School to begin loading: Hilliard Blvd., Westlake, Ohio Note: The motor coach are equipped with the following: power outlets to charge cell phones and other devices, Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs and DVD player, seat belts, reclining seats, and restrooms. 11:00 AM Depart for FL via deluxe, air conditioned motor coaches with DVD players. (Estimated # of miles: 1,070. Total drive time estimate 21 ½ hours: 16 ½ hours have been allotted for drive time, plus 5 hours for rest stops, driver change, dinner, and breakfast stops.) Meals en route student cost. THURSDAY, MARCH 22 **Meet your Tour Director, Dee George, at the Animal Kingdom Group Parking Lot** 8:30 AM Arrive at Disney s Animal Kingdom 9:00 AM Visit Disney s Animal Kingdom for the day: Experience the thrilling attraction, Expedition Everest: Board an aging train headed for an Everest base camp by way of the Forbidden Mountain to trek into a remote Himalayan Village! Also try: Kilimanjaro Safaris: Climb aboard your open-sided safari vehicle for an exciting expedition for your entire crew. Animals from Africa freely roam through acres of savannah, rivers and rocky hills. Look out for giraffes, hippos, elephants, rhinos, lions and poachers too. Enjoy the new section of the park: Pandora The World of Avatar.

Note: One motor coach will drop off the Demonettes at the Costuming and Auditions building (Rehearsal Room 6, located in the Walt Disney World service area). 8:45 AM Group will be dropped off at Epcot for the day. 9:00 AM Visit Epcot for the day: Divided into two areas, Future World and the World Showcase. Future World focuses on technological advancements, innovation and wonder, and features attractions such as Soarin, Mission: Space, and Test Track. The World Showcase is a collection of pavilions that wrap around the Lagoon. Inside find shops, attractions & restaurants that represent the culture & cuisine of 11 countries.

3 FRIDAY, MARCH 23 (Cont.) 9:00 AM The Westlake High School Demonettes Dance Team will participate in the Disney Dancin Workshop: Performers find out what it takes to be an integral member of a cohesive dance cast as they learn techniques to help maximize their rehearsal time and deliver a focused performance. Your Disney Teaching Artist will begin with a warm up and your group will learn choreography for a simulated Disney audition. Next your performers will learn how the magic is created as they go through a rehearsal of a real Disney show. The 2 1/2-hour workshop culminates in a finale performance incorporating all of the elements they have learned. 9:30 AM Marching band students meet at Epcot group parking lot to board (3) coaches. 10:00 AM The motor coaches carrying the marching band will arrive at the Disney Event Group production facility to prepare for their workshop. 10:30 AM The Westlake H.S. Demon Marching Band will participate in the You re Instrumental Workshop: Sight-read, prepare and record a polished performance of special Disney music selections in a studio environment like a professional musician. For middle/junior high and high school bands and orchestras. Your group will examine the skills, attitudes and priorities essential to musical excellence and culminate with a very special finale: a recording of your ensemble performing Disney music accompanied by footage from a classic Disney animated film! 11:30 AM One motor coach will transport the Demonettes back to Epcot. 12:30 PM Debonaires meet at Epcot group parking lot to board (1) coach. 1:00 PM One motor coach will drop off the Debonaires at the Costuming and Auditions building (Rehearsal Room 6, located in the Walt Disney World service area).

4 FRIDAY, MARCH 23 (Cont.) 1:30 PM The Westlake High School Debonaires Auxiliary Unit will participate in Disney s Auxiliration Workshop: Your group will participate in a simulated production Performance complete with a variety of equipment and props. But first, students undergo a high-energy warm-up and learn valuable flag and movement basics before launching into a mock Disney audition, where they'll learn tips to improve their chances of success. The workshop culminates in an exhilarating performance of a Disney style production number incorporating everything the students have learned. 12:30 PM Orchestra students meet at Epcot group parking lot to board (1) coach, and transfer to Disney Event Group production facility. 1:00 PM Marching band students load instrumentation on to (3) coaches and transfer back to Epcot. 1:30 PM Orchestra students arrive at the Disney Event Group production facility to prepare for workshop. 2:00 PM The Westlake High Orchestra will participate in the You re Instrumental Workshop: Sight-read, prepare and record a polished performance of special Disney music selections in a studio environment like a professional musician. (3) Private Security Guard on duty 10:30 PM-5:30 AM SATURDAY, MARCH 24 7:00 AM Deluxe Continental Breakfast Buffet with Hot Items at the Hotel 8:00 AM Load coaches and depart for the Ticket and Transportation Center. 8:30 AM Arrive at the Ticket and Transportation Center where you will go through security before boarding the Disney ferry boat or monorail. 8:45 AM Take the Disney Monorail or Disney Ferry service to the Magic Kingdom. 9:00 AM Spend the day experiencing the Magic Kingdom! Capture the enchantment of fairy tales with exciting entertainment, classic attractions, backstage tours and beloved Disney Characters with seven whimsical lands. Be sure to hit such attractions as Mickey s PhilharMagic, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, the Haunted Mansion, and the classic It s a Small World. TBA The Westlake H.S. Demon Marching Band will march in the Walt Disney World Resort (The marching band has been accepted to march at the Walt Disney World Resort! Performance time and location - to be announced.) TBA PM TBA PM Enjoy the Happily Ever After Show at the Magic Kingdom! (18 minute show) Experience the grandest of finales to your Disney day with the newest, most spectacular fireworks show in the history of Magic Kingdom park that is scheduled to open in May 2017!. (show time subject to change) Exit the park and take ferry or monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center

(3) Private Security Guard on duty 10:30 PM-5:30 AM SUNDAY, MARCH 25 7:00 AM Deluxe Continental Breakfast Buffet with Hot Items at the Hotel 8:00 AM Check out of the hotel, load, and board the motor coaches. 8:45 AM Depart for Disney s Hollywood Studios. 9:00 AM Visit Disney s Hollywood Studios for the day: Enjoy behind-the-scenes glimpses of Hollywood-style action with live shows, thrilling attractions, and backstage tours. Highlights include the Star Tours, Toy Story Mania, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. TBA Westlake High School Orchestra will perform in the Walt Disney World Resort (The orchestra performance has been approved by Disney! Performance time and location - to be announced.) 8:30 PM Experience Fantasmic, a spectacular, 25-minute fireworks and water show starring Mickey Mouse and a bevy of delightful Disney Characters and featuring classic Disney music and songs, laser lights and amazing hydrotechnic effects.
