In case of an emergency, Mrs. Jones will have a cell phone and can be reached at (214) Conduct: Because one of the goals of Line Camp is to develop strong leaders for our school and community, each of the following leadership attributes will be required throughout the week: Punctuality with the tight schedule it is necessary that your group be on time for all sessions. Talking in the interest of time and out of courtesy to the other teams, it is essential that your group remain quiet particularly during evaluations and leadership seminars. Participation it is mandatory that your team attends all classes and sessions throughout the camp. Conduct Appropriate, respectful conduct is required at all times.

4 Miscellaneous Rules: The following are established by the Crowd Pleasers Staff and should be taken seriously. Demerits will be given for violating these rules. No door or room decorations. No tape, glue, tacks, etc. No outside food is allowed on hotel premises. You must attend every session/class/tryout. While you are learning, you are expected to be quiet and courteous, but you can clap and be enthusiastic. You are not allowed to leave the hotel at any time. Gum is not allowed in class or during performances. Cover-ups are mandatory when walking from your room, around the hotel, and during meals. Be sure to clear off your table after each meal. Leave the dining area cleaner than you found it. No smoking, alcohol, or drugs, etc. Do not leave valuables unattended. These should be locked in your room. No practicing in the halls of the hotel. If you practice in your room, stay quiet. Be courteous of others staying at the hotel. You are responsible for damage to your room. DO NOT move the furniture. Keep your door locked at all times and carry a key with you. Abide by lights out. You need your sleep! What to Expect at Camp! to wear the assigned uniforms for that particular day. to always have your hair pulled up in a ponytail or bun, bangs out of your eyes. to ALWAYS act like a LADY!! Represent Strutters well for the sake of your reputation as well as your teammates. This goes for during class, around the hotel, anywhere and everywhere. to walk with your bag on a certain shoulder (watch the officers) and in an orderly manner (a line ). to sit in drill team position at all times (watch the officers for the correct foot forward). to sit in your squad lines every morning for roll call and to begin stretching when asked by an officer or staff member. STRETCH WELL! to be sore and tired. You will need to stick it out for the three days. Please do not ever sit out of a routine or leave for the restroom or water fountain unless you are given a break by the instructor. This reflects poorly on our team. to always be at least fifteen minutes ahead of schedule. to smile non-stop for the entire three days! to be cheerful all week. I know everyone will be tired and cranky, but it is important to keep a positive attitude for the sake of strong team unity. to get to know all the girls on our team. Great time to bond with new girls!

5 to be the first ones ready to dance, the last to talk when an instructor is talking, the first to clean up the tables after a meal, and maybe even the last in line to eat. Let s be a team that others really do admire. to eat all meals you will need the energy. Camp is not the place to crash diet. to always listen and obey Mrs. Jones, Miss Darling, the officers, and the Crowd Pleasers Staff. to have lots of fun, learn lots of routines for football season, make new friends, and leave feeling proud to be a Strutter! Remember to have fun! You will get out of it what you put into it! We are excited to get started with this team and make it a great year! Love, Mrs. Jones and Miss Darling
