7 Beach Badges- Beach Badges are required by all persons, 12 and over, who are on the beach. Badges are required from June 15 th until September 2 nd between the hours of 10:00AM and 5:00PM. Fees: Season Badges are on sale from mid-november until June 15 th at the Pre-Season price of $25, after June 15 th the season badge cost is $35.00 Weekly Badges are $20.00 and are good from Saturday to Friday Daily Badges are $5.00 Senior Badges are $10.00 for any person 65 years or older, they must be purchased by the senior in person with proof of age Boat Ramp- The ramp is located at 10 th & Bayview Fees: Season Pass is $ per vessel (including jet skis) Daily Pass is $20.00 per vessel (including jet skis) Commercial Season Pass is $ Tennis Courts- The tennis courts are public courts and can be used by anyone. Reservations are recommended, Barnegat Light residents can make reservations two weeks in advance and all others one week in advance. The courts are open 8:00AM until 6:00PM seven days a week. Fees: Regular fees -$12.00 per hour per court Pass #1 (only available to Barnegat Light residents until June 15 th ) The cost of this pass is $80.00 for 10 hours of play, a $40.00 savings. Four passes may be purchased per person. Pass #2 (only available to Barnegat Light residents until June 15 th ) The cost of this pass is $75.00 and is a season pass for one court at a set day and time weekly during the season. This pass will give you a savings of $ Skate Park- The Skate Park is open daily from 9:00AM until 6:00PM (or dusk, whichever comes first). All skaters must have a badge, helmet, elbow pads & kneepads Badges: Yearly Pass -free to Barnegat Light residents, $20.00 for nonresidents Weekly Pass - $5.00 and is good for one week from the date of purchase Daily Pass is $3.00 for each day
8 Beach Wheels- Beach wheels are available to be lent out to any beach patron who is unable to walk to the beach or on the beach. For more information call the Borough Hall at Monday through Friday between 8:00AM and 3:30PM Dogs- All dogs must be licensed and leashed. Dogs are allowed on the beach on a leash from October 1 st until April 15 th Dog Park The ball field on West 10 th Street is also a Dog Park. It s a great place for dogs to run free and play. All dogs MUST be licensed and have a current rabies vaccination! Also, all dogs must be friendly & nonaggressive. Please be sure to clean-up after your dog! Driveways- Driveways need to be designated, you may not use your entire property front as a driveway. You can designate a minimum of 10 feet and a maximum of 20 feet, the remainder of your property front may be used for public street parking Volunteering- The First Aid Squad and Fire Company need volunteers- come out and help your neighbors! Museum Hours- The Barnegat Light Museum is located at 5 th & Central. 9 Digging holes on the beach is extremely dangerous! Do not dig holes any deeper than your knees and be sure to fill in all holes when finished Saltwater Fishing Registration- The State of New Jersey requires anyone 16 year-old & over to register for saltwater fishing.
