NEXT MUSIC EDUCATION WORKSHOP WILL BE HELD AT ART S MUSIC SHOP AT 3030 EASTERN BLVD ON APRIL 23 rd FROM 11:00 AM UNTIL 4:00 PM FOR GRADES 6 THROUGH 12. SATURDAY, MAY 21 st AT ROCK BOTTOM AMERICAN PUB ON EASTERN BYPASS IN MONTGOMERY, KING BEE AND WISHBONE WILL BE PERFORMING FOR A MAMA FUNDRAISER. TICKETS ARE $12 IN ADVANCE AND $15 AT THE DOOR. LANNY NICHOLS, RAY GOSS AND BEV CRAMPTON WILL BE PERFORMING WITH OTHERS AS WE WELCOME JAKE S TO OUR MAMA FAMILY. THE APRIL 2 ND ANNUAL AUTISM CRAWFISH BOIL EVENT AT ROCK BOTTOM WAS A HUGE SUCESS. MAMA WILL BE A SPONSOR FOR THIS EVENT GOING FORWARD. BIG THANK YOU TO MAMA MEMBER ROBBY ANDERSON FOR BRINING MAMA INTO THIS EVENT. 9

10 JEFF AND ALESHIA HAVING A GREAT TIME AT THE AUTISM CRAWFISH BOIL BENEFIT. OVER 2, 700 ATTENDEES WERE ON HAND TO ENJOY SOME GOOD FOOD AND GREAT MUSIC FROM LOCAL MUSICIANS. 10

11 An up and coming guitar player from Montgomery starts to get his name out there, his career is on the rise and then it happens, touring with Justin Bieber! Julian Michael McGuire graduated from Montgomery Catholic High School, then went on to Huntingdon College, and started to work on his music career. He had already done some big things, including an appearance on the Today Show. Then he got a call from a friend who just happened to be the musical director for Justin Bieber s Purpose Tour. McGuire auditioned and the rest is history. It has been an amazing ride. It has taken a lot of faith and perseverance, but it has been really rewarding. So now he s on the road. You name it he s playing there. McQuire is now the guitarist for Justim Beiber on his layest tour. Justin an awesome guy. He has a lot of patience and is super funny. He has a great sense of humor says McQuire. The first time on the big stage was a little nerve wracking. But as soon as he hit the first note everything was fine. McQuire is seeing cities and playing in arenas he never dreamed of. Being on the road is quite an experience. Even with his new found fame, Julian is still the same guy. Bieber has him on retainer right now so he can t play with anyone else. The Purpose Tour will take him all over the country and in August all over the world as they leave for Europe. The closest he will get to home is Atlanta on April 12th and 13th. He says he will probably swing by Montgomery after that to visit grandma.
