2 JOB OPPORTUNITY The BC Cutting Horse Association is hiring for the Secretary/Treasurer position. We require a person to take charge of all aspects of running the show office at all cutting horse shows and to set up a home office to take entries for said shows and maintain simply accounting for shows and all general accounting. This person shall also organize and set BCCHA, CCHA and NCHA approvals for said shows. Also this person is required to organize directors meetings and year-end AGM, Banquet and Awards ceremonies. Applicant must have computer knowledge and be fluent with Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook and be willing to be trained on the Faster Horses Program. Applicant will need to become a NCHA certified secretary to perform duties for said NCHA shows. This position pays $550/month and $100/day for show days. 6 John Koop Sadly, on July 28th we lost a longtime friend, supporter, videographer and valued member of the BCCHA club. John "Koop" spent many years filming for BCCHA as well as CCHA. Prior to the "Koop Mobile" the judges and announcers stand was the back of a pickup truck, provided someone volunteered their truck with the risk of damage. Koop built the first "Koop Mobile" himself and would arrive well in advance of cutting shows to have everything set up, making life easier on the show committee. John was always improving the "Koop Mobile", all at his own expense and with a smile on his face. It has been said by judges who had to review his runs that Koop was by far the best videographer. He always provided the best videos and support to everyone involved in cutting and we will truly miss having him around and seeing that wonderful smile. Our condolences go out to his family and all the many friends he has. May you rest in peace Koop.

7 Thank-You Member Recognition Lynn Graham BCCHA would like to thank Lynn Graham for all her many years devoted to our club. Lynn has been the backbone to our association since she took on the role of secretary/treasurer. We could not have functioned without all her time and efforts and will truly miss having her as a part of our team. We wish you all the best Lynn in your future endeavors and thank-you for everything you have done for all of us. All the best in the future and we hope to see you around! Robin Hay We would like to congratulate Haley Stradling on all her successes in and out of the cutting pen this year! This youth has rocked the cutting pen and taken over the jumping ring! A few of the jumping shows she excelled in this season included the 2014 Youth World Cup, and most recently she took home the win at the Running Fox CET National Medal Finals in Calgary Alberta. Congratulations Haley and keep it up girl, we are all rooting for you! Many thanks go out to Robin Hay for running the BCCHA website and creating the newsletters in the past. Without our members taking on tasks like these we would not be functioning very well as a club and we truly appreciate all the time and effort you put into everything.
