WOOSTER COLLEGE Wooster comes to the local campus for the first time for a football game bent on revenge for the 26 to 14 defeat administered by the Falcons in the initial grid battle between the two last year. Capt Steve Brudzinski's passes and kicks spelled defeat for the Scots last year. Steve pitched 19 completed passes out of 23 tosses, several of them for touchdowns, but today without the Fremont ace, Bowling Green must depend upon a greener team to stop a veteran club from the Presbyterian school. Wooster's presence on our schedule is a source of greatest joy to Bowling Green. May the best team win and may sportsmanship prevail. COACH BOB WHITTAKER Today Bowling Green State University's ninth football coach sends a team onto the field. Coach Robert Whittaker came to the campus last February and has inspired his men through his earnestness and forceful manner of coaching He enjoyed a long and very successful career as coach at Sandusky high school and everyone hopes that work here will be even more successful WELCOME TO THE KILTED BAND Hoot Mon! HOMECOMING GAME OCT Bowling Green will be on the road to Akron next Friday and then to Miami U and Michigan Normal on successive Saturdays before returning home again to play the Student Princes of Heidelberg on Oct. 25th in the annual Homecoming Game.
