September PO Box 376, Fremont, NE Fremont Jaycees turn 75 years old! In September 1936, the Fremont Jaycees became a Chapter. We will mark the 75 th anniversary with a celebration on October 15th, It will be held in Fremont at the Local 22 hall on Colorado Street. The committee has decided to host an evening of appetizers with drink set up (soda, juice-- bring your own liquor) with socializing, story telling and reminiscing. Mark your calendar, get a babysitter, bring your spouse or guest and plan to attend. You will get a personal invitation this month. We are looking for names and addresses of people that were in the Jaycees over the years. 2 Children and Youth Pepsi NFL Punt, Pass and Kick was held on Sunday, August 21 st at the Clarmar practice field. There was a threat of rain and so we began the competition a little early to get it underway. Eighteen boys and girls including a family from Omaha, participated. We opened up two lines of competition with Jaycees Deanna, Emily, Leo, Danielle and many parents helping. It made for a quick competition as the rain stopped and the sun came out shortly after. The 1 st place winners in each age division were invited to attend the Sectional competition in Lincoln on October 1 st.
