3 St Albans Saints Dinamo Mission Statement It is the mission of Saint Albans Saint Dinamo to foster the development of local youth through the sport of soccer. We are dedicated to providing our participants with a fun, high quality soccer experience that encourages sportsmanship and a love of the game through the development of player, coach, referee and team. Our programme is based on the following concepts:- Player development Player development within a fun and age appropriate environment is one of our primary missions. Our juniors are taught primarily individual skills with less emphasis on tactics or winning. Our club employs and will continually refine a set of learning goals for all ages. Coaches Coaches play an integral role as both teachers and role models. We adhere to Football Federation Victoria regulations and encourage coaches to gain accreditation so they can attain the fullest potential Family Involvement We believe membership in Dinamo is a family affair. We rely on our members to volunteer in order to provide quality programs for our kids. We hope that our families will enjoy their membership in our soccer community. Affiliations The development of the game of soccer in our community is best accomplished through our affiliation with larger governing bodies, including Football Federation Victoria and Football Federation Australia. Good of the game St Albans Saints will advocate the good of the game of soccer. By promoting and working for soccer we hope to nurture the love of the game in the children of our club and enrich the local community. We hope the skills and knowledge our members learn will endure, allowing our players to continue to enjoy and participate in the global sport throughout their lives. If no payment has been made, it will be taken that the offer of acceptance has been rejected and the position will be offered to the next player on the list. **Saturday 21 st January 2017 Progress Payment $ **A non-refundable progress payment of $ must be made. If no payment has been made by Friday 3 rd February 2017, your child will not receive the playing kit until progress payment has been made and will be ineligible to play until payment is received. ***Saturday 25 th March 2017 Final Payment $ ***Final payment of $ must be made, if no payment has been made, your child will be ineligible to play from Sunday 26 th March 2017 until payment is received. Whilst ineligible to play, if no final payment has been made by Saturday 8 th April 2017, your child s membership to Saint Albans Saints Soccer Club will be cancelled and he/she will be ineligible to play for the remainder of the 2017 season.

5 U13/14 U15/16 Girls *Wednesday 26 th October 2016 Deposit $ *To accept and secure your child s place for the 2017 season, a non-refundable deposit of $ must be made. St Albans Saints Soccer Club has a strict non refund policy to fees already paid.

6 TRAINING INFORMATION Training NPL Juniors (U12-U18) commence training Monday the 16 th of January 2017 (TBC). Pre-season training for NPL Sub-Juniors U9-U11, Girls will commence the week beginning Monday 6 th February 2017 (TBC). Training will be held at TBA. Training schedule will be posted on our web site and Facebook in the new year. PLAYERS are to contact the coach if they are running late or unable to attend a training session or Game Day Match. Should a player not attend training it is at the coach s discretion whether or not the player is able to participate on Match Day. Training Policy All players must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. The club cannot be held responsible for players left unattended during or after training or on match days. All players are required to wear suitable sports attire for training, including shin pads and soccer boots. Training in Bad Weather Training will go ahead as scheduled unless you are notified by your Coach or Team Manager. It is at the Coaches discretion to shorten or cancel a session in the event of bad weather. As a general rule, we do not cancel training or games unless we are notified by council to do so or the committee deem the conditions too dangerous. Points of Contact Team Managers: The position of Team Manager is there to assist the coach and perform all administrative and match day tasks. They will inform parents of the roles they are required to perform on match days. If you have any questions please contact your child s coach or team manager. Technical Director Ryan McGuffie will continue as our NPL Technical Director who will be assisted by Michael Calendrella. Both will be responsible for overseeing the training curriculum for St Albans Saints Dinamo Soccer Club. 7 NO SMOKING POLICY It is prohibited to smoke within a 10 metre radius (about 2 car lengths) of the playing pitch/training ground at all organized underage sporting events. Kitchen & Bar Food and drink is available at our Club rooms at Churchill Reserve for purchase every Thursday and on Game Days. A fundraising sausage sizzle is run most Tuesdays. Merchandise St Albans Saints Dinamo merchandise will be available via the online store which is currently under construction. Further information will be available early First Aid First aid officers, equipment and a defibrillator are available in the event of a medical emergency. Fundraising & Events To ensure a sustainable club, we encourage families to support and attend all fundraising events throughout the year. All money raised is invested back into the running of the junior program. Players & Parent Code of Conduct Please refer to additional handout. Parent roster Parents are required to assist with various activities such as setting up & putting away goals, being linesmen, marshal and assist with our yearly fundraising activities. Those not fulfilling these requirements may result in the benching of their child on match day. Please see the attached parent roster that will be completed by Team Manager in consultation with parents.
