2 Welcome to the big blue 2016 Let us start by saying how glad we are to have you here at Irresistible Force in Brisbane to enjoy a great weekend of fun and games. This year The Big Blue is hosting the following exciting National Level events: FFG Armada Nationals Steamforged Games Guild Ball Nationals Privateer Press Iron Gauntlet Qualifier. The winners of the Armada and Guild Ball Nationals will win trips to their respective World Championship events in the USA and England!! Along with these events we will have tournaments for X Wing and Warmachine. To top off all these wonderful events we will have some fun mini tournaments on the Saturday evening with our remote control 1/72 nd scale tanks As players this weekend it will be your responsibility to ensure the vibe of the tournaments is positive and enjoyable for all. The entire IF Team are available at any stage of the weekend so feel free to approach us if we can assist you in any way. All the best and Game On! The Hyperdome contains all major banks, retail shops and facilities as well as housing a major bus terminal. Fitzy s is a fully licensed convention centre with drinks and snacks available throughout the weekend. Attached to the center is a fully licensed restaurant, bars, sports bar and bottle shop. Within walking distance are number of fast-food outlets including Macdonald s, KFC, Dominos, Subway and Pizza Hut. PLEASE NOTE that there is to be no food purchased from outside the venue to be consumed on the licensed premises.

4 Accommodation: The nearest accommodation to Irresistible Force and Fitzy s is the Logan City Motor Inn situated along the access road some 15 minutes walk away. 6 Tournament Rules All teams need to be fully painted and based. The event will be run under the auspices of a national level series event fully sanctioned and supported by Steamforged Games. Players need to be fully acquainted with the following rules of play for this event: Tournament Length: 'A champion is crowned' (please note that at present we have scheduled 5 rounds but if a 6th round is need the event will begin at 11AM on Saturday the 25th) Match Win Conditions: 'Play to the final whistle' Round Length: 'Team Tactics' Team Roster Selection: 'Championship Events' Match Roster Selection: 'Move and counter move' SCHEDULE Saturday 24 September Round 1: 2.00 PM PM Round 2: 4.10 PM PM Sunday 25 September Round 3: 8.30 AM AM Round 4: AM PM Round 5: 1.00 PM PM

ALL attending players will have access to purchase the limited edition Guild Ball pitch designed by the team at Irresistible Force. 9 Tournament Rules The event will be run under the auspices of a national level series event fully sanctioned and supported by FFG using their competitive play rules, FAQ s and other associated guidelines. Players need to be fully acquainted with the rules of play for this event and are directed to the FFG Armada Organised Play and Events page to access the latest documents. Lists: Players are urged to check and recheck lists prior to the event to avert any errors in list design and point additions. It is COMPULSORY for players to present a neat legible copy of their list using the official Armada Fleet List to the TO as well as having other copies on hand for their opponents. Lists will be checked at random over the course of the weekend. SCHEDULE Saturday 24 September Round 1: 3.00 PM 5.15 PM Round 2: 6.00 PM 8.15 PM Sunday 25 September Round 3: 8.30 AM AM Round 4: AM 1.15 PM Round 5: 1.45 PM 4.00 PM PLEASE NOTE: If a 6 th round is required this will mean that the event will begin at 11.00AM on Saturday the 24 th of September. Players will be notified as quickly and efficiently as possible if this eventuates.

10 PRIZES First Place: The winner of a National Championship receives a first-place trophy to show off to their family and friends, and a first-round bye at the 2016 Star Wars: Armada World Championship. A first-round bye will give you a big advantage over the fierce competition at Worlds. Top Four: The top four players each receive an acrylic range ruler to show your veteran command over your fleet. Top Eight: The top eight players each receive a metal challenge coin, depicting a Tie Fighter Pilot and proving the accolades of your successes. Top Sixteen: The top sixteen players each receive a set of Acrylic objective tokens. You ll want to concentrate your fire in order to earn a set of these! Top Sixty-Four: The top sixty-four players each receive one copy of the alternate art card for Darth Vader in command. When Empire demands ruthlessness, there s no better commander to lead your fleet. Other random prizes dependent upon the size of the event. CAKE! ALL attending players will have access to purchase the limited edition Armada / X Wing play mat designed by the team at Irresistible Force. These beautiful mats are only available for purchase by attendees of the event at this stage and can be collected at the culmination of the weekend as we will be using them to facilitate the running of the weekend.
