122 CLUB REGULATIONS RESPONSIBILITY Standard of dress and general appearance will, at all times, determine the privilege of members and their guests to use the facilities of the Clubhouse and Course and shall be consistent with the dignity of the Club. It is the Member s responsibility to comply with these regulations for themselves and their guests. All employees of the Clubhouse and the Golf Shop have the responsibility to ensure all people comply with the dress and etiquette code prior to accessing the Clubhouse or Course. All golfers, including guests, must report to the Golf Shop prior to hitting off or using the practice facilities. MEN S GENERAL DRESS REGULATIONS When on Club grounds: Trousers and shorts (tailored and up to 2 (5cm) below bottom of the knee) must be neat and clean. Denim, elastic, drawstring and cargo pants or shorts are NOT permitted. Shirts must have collars, sleeves, be clean and tucked in at all times. Skivvies with rolled collars are acceptable (including mock turtle necks). With shorts, long socks must be kept up at all times. Acceptable short socks are plain white or plain white with a golf club logo. Shirts, pants, pullovers, jackets and hats must not display any advertising that is not directly related to the sponsorship of golf - clothing manufacturers logo excepted. (Excludes transfer from vehicle to locker room). MEN S SPECIFIC DRESS REGULATIONS G o l f s h o e s a r e e s s e n t i a l f o r p l a y. Walking and/ or running shoes are only p e r m i t t e d f o r c a d d i e s a n d s p e c t a t o r s. GUESTS All Members have the privilege of introducing up to three guests to the Club, subject to the following conditions: Prior to playing, the sponsoring Member is required to enter the names of guests in the appropriate book and to pay the prescribed Guest Fee(s). The sponsoring Member must accompany the guest(s) while on the Course. Except with the explicit permission of the General Manager: 123

124 1. A Member shall not introduce more than one guest to play in Wednesday Competitions (up to three guests may be introduced with the permission of the General Manager). 2. A Member shall not introduce more than one g u e s t o n S u n d a y p r i o r t o 1 : 0 0 p m. 3. A Member shall not introduce more than three playing guests on any one occasion and the Member and his/her group must play outside competition times. 4. Members may not invite more than one guest on an Invitation Day. 5. Members guests shall not be permitted to play in the Saturday competition other than on Invitation or Open Events. 6. (a) Guests must not play from the blue tees, except when they are the competition tees of the day or when their handicap is 18 or less. (b) Unaccompanied visitors with handicaps above 18 must play from the white tees. (c) Corporate groups must play from the white tees. 7. Guests are restricted to 6 games per year. Nine hole invitation medley events do not count as a game. RECIPROCAL CLUBS If you intend to visit a reciprocal club or a club with playing rights, please ensure you obtain a LETTER OF INTRODUCTION, through the Offi ce. Also please book well in advance and inform the Club you are visiting if you change your booking. Reciprocal playing rights are extended to those Full Playing Members of associated clubs who are visiting Sydney. N.B. This excludes Members from reciprocal clubs and clubs with playing rights, who are a resident in the Sydney area. Guest Fees: For Full Playing Members of clubs where NSWGC has a full reciprocity agreement (see following list), the Guest Fees are similar to those of NSWGC Members. For Full Playing Members of clubs where NSWGC has playing rights only (see following list), the Guest Fees are generally equal to that of an Unaccompanied Visitor. General Manager s approval is required if the number per booking is in excess of four (4) players. Reciprocal Members are not eligible to play in major Club events. 124

Management, at their discretion, may close the Clubhouse earlier than the stipulated closing hours. The Bar will close 15 minutes before Clubhouse closing time. TIDINESS Bags, including golf clubs and carry bags, shall not be placed anywhere on the upper fl oor of the Clubhouse other than in the luggage storage areas. CONSUMPTION OF REFRESHMENTS All Members, guests and visitors are required to consume all refreshments from glasses rather than cans or bottles whilst in the Clubhouse. BEHAVIOUR ON BALCONIES Golfers are urged to be aware of players on the 1 st tee and 18 th green and keep noise at a respectful level. CLOSING OF CLUB GATES The entrance gates will be closed approximately 15 minutes after sunset. National Parks and Wildlife Services close the Boom Gate at the entrance from Anzac Parade at 7.30pm daily and 8.30pm during daylight saving periods. A late gate call (and fee of $50) applies to anyone leaving after that time. Club security will organise the opening and closing of the gate for special functions. 127
