1 <br> April 2019 We re Minding Our Business Taking a walk down memory lane at BlueLine Classics Members have glimpse of days gone by at Business After Hours Members at the Business After Hours on March 14 were treated to the hospitality and warm welcome by our hosts at BlueLine Classics, Tim Franko and Jeff and Jackie Canter. We were able to view the beautifully restored classic cars on display in their showroom. And, if that wasn t enough, we were able to see a life-size Fred Sanford of the retro television sitcom Sanford and Son, along with the original Sanford and Son Salvage Truck, which is now in the possession of BlueLine Classics. Speaker: Tracy Strobel, Deputy Director Tracy Strobel s nearly 25-year career in public libraries began with a focus on technology at the Medina County District Library and then the Cleveland Public Library. As the Deputy Director of Cuyahoga County Public Library, a position she has held since 2005, she provides oversight to the 27 branch libraries, the Information Technology, Technical Services and Literacy/ Learning Divisions. Ms. Strobel will talk about the Library s role in educating the public on a variety of topics, including: Workplace Education, offering customized, job-specific skills instruction. Teams work closely with employers to identify the specific education needs of their employees and provide instruction to meet those needs efficiently. Digital Literacy, providing technology training courses over everything from beginning digital literacy skills (computers, Internet, ) to specific software programs and advanced topics (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, cloud computing, Basic Literacy, High School Equivalency, ESOL, Corrections, and more.)
