1 Protected 3M Protected provide voltage surge and high current protection and are available in sizes ranging from 25-, 50-, and 100-pair wall mount units. The terminals have a wide selection of station interfaces. All protected entrance terminals are UL Listed, pre-wired, fully tested and use flame-retardant materials. All are engineered for fast installation, designed to fit standard cabinets and save valuable space. Five-pin protectors must be purchased separately. All terminals are stackable to maximize space efficiency /50/100 Pair Protected Entrance Terminals The 4730 Protected Entrance Terminals (PETs) combine maximum circuit protection with the ability to accommodate 25 to 100 pair in a single unit, while providing clear access for fast, accurate splicing. The 4730 Terminal is designed for use in office buildings, apartments, and other multiple-subscriber telephone installations. Featured in the 4730 PET, the 4500 Module provides high quality data transmission characteristics, for Category 5. The 4500 Module is designed as a demarcation module that unplugs to disconnect the circuit where an RJ-11 is not necessary. The 4500 Module is also designed to be easily upgraded for double jumpering and has the capability to mount halfringers or MTUs.
