2 2 competition committee Andalucía Costa del Sol - Open de España Femenino Aloha hosted the Ladies European Tour Andalucía Costa del Sol - Open de España Femenino from 22 nd to 25 th September, with a victory for a local Spanish lady, Azahara Muñoz. 126 lady professionals, from all over the world, enjoyed our course, our weather and our friendly club. Home favourite Azahara Muñoz pipped Beth Allen at the final hole to become the first Spanish winner in the history of the event, playing virtually in her own back garden. Home favourite Azahara Muñoz become the first Spanish winner in the history of the event Muñoz fired rounds of 72, 66, 70 and 70 to end with a 72-hole total of 10-under-par and finish one stroke clear of Allen. This was just a month after becoming the first Spanish woman to tee off in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Although Muñoz birdied the third, her putter went cold as she made a run of 10 straight pars but her patience paid off after Allen carded back to back bogeys on the 12 th and 13 th holes.

Access is possible with your membership card or with a remote control that you can buy from the administration office for 35. This is due to a lack of space on some of the current boards.

Honour boards As you may have noticed, the honour boards in the entrance have not been updated with this year s winners. The Board is currently studying alternatives and seeking estimates. In the meantime and considering our members comments, 2016 champions will be added despite the limited space. The Pairs Champions and the Lady Captains boards also have limited space and will be replaced.

8 8 communication & marketing committee List of shares for sale A subscribe button is now on the public website... buyers and sellers (and anyone else who is interested) can now ask for the latest shares for sale list to be ed to them, automatically, whenever it is updated with new information. This will mean that sellers can easily see where their share is positioned on the list and buyers will get notified as soon as a new share comes on the market. The whole system is automated and requires no intervention by the office. Forum On Friday 28 th October a forum was held in the Clubhouse. A full explanation and detailed information was given by the Green s and House Committees on the improvements proposed for the course and Clubhouse. A detailed resume of the information provided will be published soon. Extraordinary General Meeting We would like to inform our members that Aloha Golf, SA will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting on 5 th December at 4 pm to submit the proposals for improvements on the course and the Clubhouse to the approval of the shareholders. The meeting will be held in the Clubhouse. In the event of not being able to attend, you can download a proxy form from the website and return it to the office by info@clubdegolfaloha.com.

This is an Individual Stableford where our ladies in their finest years 70+ compete for this honour. After 2 whirlwind years Penny will now hand over the reigns to Lise who will announce her new committee to take us through the next two years. As it was a huge success we will do this again.
