Philippe Allaire's daughter of Brillantissime had the race won at Vincennes 10 days ago when breaking stride in the last 100 metres and can put the record straight this time. 6 (6) ALEX TROJBORG caught the eye on his second foray at Vincennes when fifth of 13 on September 20. Tomas Malmqvist's charge can improve on that from a good spot behind the autostart. Solvalla-winner (9) TOOHOTFORYOU hasn't been so lucky with her draw but should still take a hand in proceedings while the consistent (8) CLARA MAZA can take some more prize money. If anything can beat her it might be the erratic (12) BONA FIDE who on a going a day would be on a par with her. The former won at this track on ridden debut in June - with (7) FIERTE CASTELETS in fourth - while the latter is on a hattrick after successes at Cabourg and Vincennes. The former has Eric Raffin in the plate this time which might just tip the balance. The unbeaten (8) FEODALE will also attract support. CAPELLO DE PRETOT - Dual winner from fourteen runs and does look to have a solid chance here 2. SARIKA - Four time winner from forty nine and runner up in last three starts so big player 3. BROSSAC - Triple winner from eight and runner up last time when on a hat trick so bang in form 4. BARATIN DE SIVOLA - Thrice a winner from twenty and last two runs came at Cluny where second and a fall were the outcome 5. CAP MIX - One victory from ten starts and a runner up berth at Cluny last time out There might be only five runners for this opening cross country event but a case can be made for all of them. (2) SARIKA has been firing second place finished in with regularity of late and maybe now is the time to go one better. (1) CAPELLO DE PRETOT is probably the overall form choice. 19 Race 2 1. ECLAIR MAG - Runner up in four of his five runs and surely only a matter of time to break maiden tag 2. WELTMEISTER - Finished eighth on debut at Clairefontaine-Deauville but much more required 3. ELEGANT STAR - One win from her eleven runs and a runner up at Strasbourg last time out 4. EHMAPOULE - Finished fourth on both runs to date but will need to step it up a bit here 5. EMERAUDE DE KERZA - One victory from nine which came at Dieppe and has other good form as well. Considered (5) EMERAUDE DE KERZA might get the job done here although it is very tight despite the small field of runners. She was only seventh at Auteuil last time out but previously had put two very good runs together including a win at Dieppe. She might outgun the likely favourite in (3) ELEGANT STAR and perennial maiden, (1) ECLAIR MAG. (4) EHMAPOULE for fourth. (5) EMERAUDE DE KERZA - (3) ELEGANT STAR - (1) ECLAIR MAG - (4) EHMAPOULE

20 Race 3 1. DOUCE ALEX - A dual winner from twenty runs and has been in good placed form so a big player 2. GASPAR DE PRETOT - One victory from nine runs but poor on only start so far this season and work to do 3. DJEAN ROCK - Off the mark two starts back at Granville on chase debut but only sixth last time out 4. DIFFLY RIVER ANN - Runner up on penultimate start of four but fell last time and could well bounce back 5. DIABOLO DE L'ISLE - Placed in two of eleven runs but looks a pretty huge outsider here to be fair 6. DORALOU DES BORDES - Finished third on racecourse and hurdles debut at Niort last October but not seen since (4) DIFFLY RIVER ANN showed nothing in two starts back in 2016 but then after a two year absence ran an excellent second on chase debut at La Roche-Posay before falling early on at La Roche sur-yon last time. If that tumble has not dented confidence then he can win this at the main expense of (1) DOUCE ALEX. (3) DJEAN ROCK and (6) DORALOU DES BORDES can fill the frame. (4) DIFFLY RIVER ANN - (1) DOUCE ALEX - (3) DJEAN ROCK - (6) DORALOU DES BORDES

21 Race 4 1. EN ACCELEREE - Won on debut here last season and very consistent up to last effort at Auteuil 2. SAINTE LOVELY - Placed in five of her seven runs and entitled to respect for the frame 3. MATRIARK - All three wins have come this season and surely in major contention for another 4. MISTRAL DES NOES - Placed in half of his ten starts but looks totally up against it here 5. ESPION DE CHENEAU - One win from four attempts but will do extremely well to get into contention 6. ELEGANTE DU CHENET - One win from her half dozen attempts and should be having a big say here 7. ZIA MARTA - Runner up in first two runs of four but not so hot in two subsequent attempts (6) ELEGANTE DU CHENET is just about the call here. She won over hurdles at Dieppe in May and went back there for chase debut where she was an adequate fifth. She will have learned a fair bit from there and can sneak in ahead of (3) MATRIARK who looks a clear second best. (1) EN ACCELEREE and (2) SAINTE LOVELY can pick up the other cheques. (6) ELEGANTE DU CHENET - (3) MATRIARK - (1) EN ACCELEREE - (2) SAINTE LOVELY

22 Race 5 1. FRENCH BIRD - Won on flat debut at Lignieres and two fair attempts over hurdles. Sets the formm standard 2. MAKLEM - Unplaced on all three hurdles starts and looks a complete outsider now 3. HINOU DES HAZARDS - Placed in three of her five flat runs but much more will be required here 4. FEE ANTIQUE - Unplaced on both her outings and could well struggle here too today at a big price 5. FORCEMENT - Fourth on racecourse and hurdles debut at Aix-les-Bains in June. Could improve off that 6. BENIDORM - A newcomer by Spider Flight who will be best watched here on debut with a view to the future 7. FORTUNA BELLA - Unplaced on both her hurdles runs so far and has a lot to prove right now 8. BESS - Placed in half of her six runs including third on hurdles debut at Chateaubriant last time 9. CAT BALLOU - Unplaced in all five outings and cannot be counted in here at all one suspects This juvenile event for fillies looks a terrific opportunity for (1) FRENCH BIRD to add to her debut flat victory which came at Lignieres back in April and her two subsequent tries over hurdles were not devoid of promise so she looks very well placed here. (8) BESS is open to improvement following a nice hurdles introduction last time. (6) BENIDORM and (5) FORCEMENT might hit the frame. (1) FRENCH BIRD - (8) BESS - (6) BENIDORM - (5) FORCEMENT

23 Race 6 1. EXTRA LIDA - Placed in two of her four outings and that will be a good outcome today at least 2. E'TCHARLIE - 3. ES ASTARA - Finished fourth on debut at Lyon-Parilly in April and should come on a lot for that 4. ECOUTE EN TETE - One win from five runs and was unfortunate last time out. Could bounce back here today 5. EDOUARD - Placed in the first four of his three runs and sure to be thereabouts at the finish 6. EXAUCEUR - Placed in the middle of his three starts but that form will fall some way short here 7. EMIR GUEULATIS - Off the mark on the last of three flat runs which came at Cluny in June so more to come 8. EVER TWIG - Unplaced on both her starts so far and will surely have to improve a great deal 9. EXTREME - A newcomer by Denham Red and would not have to be extra special to take this This four year old conditions hurdle affords (4) ECOUTE EN TETE a chance to atone for a seventh place disqualification at Craon last time and the selection was a fair third here back earlier in the season over hurdles so all in all rates a bet. 48 Race 6 1. FULL DREAM - First run for a Mood West gelding out of Ravissante Deesse. Others preferred 2. FINGAL MUSIC - Fair form. More needed to win. Could prefer this longer distance. Might place 3. FARIBEL DU RABUTIN - Unreliable. Only fifth last time and needs to do more to win this race 4. FRUIT DE BERTRANGE - In good recent form but this does appear a tougher task. Might play a minor role 5. FANNY DU RIED - well tried this year without winning and does need to find a few lengths 6. FARFIR - Fair form and does have a winning chance in this line-up. Deserves some consideration 7. FINALE DRY - Uneliable but does like it right-handed and could finish in the money. Chance 8. FILLMORE - Did well when improving to win latest start. Deserves respect for that win 9. FRENCH HARBOR - Unreliable but did win peunultimate start and must be given consideration 10. FLIMS DE PAUMAR - Mostly modst form and does need to find a few lengths to win. Others preferred 11. FLOREST D'ARGENT - Much improved when runner-up last time out. Looking to go one better but this looks a tougher task 12. FRIMOUSSE DE NUIT - Battling to win but s holding form and is likely to contest the finish once again 13. FALKO DE NOUVILLE - Has lost form and does need to find a few lengths to win. Others are preferred 14. FIDELIO FLONY - A bit unreliable but is quite capable of finishing in the money once again (8) FILLMORE looked an improved sort when winning last time out and it will not be much of a surprise if he were to follow up and win this race. (9) FRENCH HARBOR has the ability and the last run is probably best ignored. (14) FIDELIO FLONY is experienced and will not go down easily and deserves respect. (6) FARFIR can place.
