This trail is run early in the season as the trail length is very much limited by the size of the forest. The gently undulating terrain will be enjoyed by all. GENERAL INFORMATION Whilst we take every precaution to keep people away from the trails, this forest is becoming increasingly popular with members of the public. Please help us continue to make a good impression with the Forestry Commission; normal courtesy and good behaviour from all competitors will be expected and appreciated. From the North: Travel down the A11 to the junction of the A134 and B1107. Take the third exit, signposted to Brandon (B1107) and travel along this road for approximately 2 miles passing Thetford Golf Club on your left hand side. The entrance to Warren Wood is on the right and will be marked with red turn squares as usual (Fire Route 16). From the South: Travel up the A11 past Elveden and on until you reach the junction of the A134 (Bury St Edmunds) and the B1107. Take the first exit signposted to Brandon (B1107) and travel along this road for approximately 2 miles passing Thetford Golf Club on your left hand side. The trails offer varying distances on packed sand and grassy surfaces. However, there are some short stretches of loose flints. Dog boots should not be needed for fit feet. The terrain is mostly flat. Exact distances and trails will be dictated by weather conditions over the race weekend. Any trail changes will be posted on the race notice board. GENERAL INFORMATION Cranwich is not used for husky training. Please help us to encourage the Forestry Commission to allow us to continue to schedule races at this venue. It is anticipated that as usual in this area, there will be some interest from the general public. Normal courtesy from all competitors will be appreciated.
