3 Jack Barber Racing Open Day Welcome to our Open Day. Weare markingthe start of an exciting journey for Jade and myself, as Iembark upon anew career as anational Hunt Trainer. Iam very grateful to all of you who are investing in our future and we are very privileged to have some lovely horses; and Ihope in return myself and the team here at Higher Peckmoor can provide you with some exhilarating days and some lasting memories. My goal is to perpetuate the success Ihave achieved in Point-to-point racing, and to build on that as aspringboard to success in the National Hunt discipline. My timetraining Point-to-pointers has given me abroad experience and an insight into the skills required, however Idoappreciate that this will be abig step up and I am relishing the opportunity. We will continue to develop talent in Point-to-point racing as my wife Jade takes full responsibility for training the pointers, whilst Ifocus on my new National Hunt career.through this unique opportunity we intend to nurture and develop young talented horses in the Point-to-point field prior to stepping them up to National Hunt Racing anapproachwhich my grandfather Richard and Paul Nicholls developed with horses such as See More Business, Earthmover and more besides. We recently announced that we have anew yard sponsor in Connexi. We are delightedtohave them as partners and to give them the opportunitytobroaden their offering in racing.
