NOEL 1st nd rd Forecast Trifecta Analysis: Again the lion s share a two-year-old event went to the favourite, and now each the six juvenile races (bar one) have fallen to either trainer Simpson or Victor Cheeseman. As if to rub salt in the wounds their competition, both conditioners accounted for the exacta in this, the first contest a higher value for this division. The winner THE PRICE IS RIGHT had little trouble for most the way, and found the extra needed when finally subjected to more serious pressure from an undying Vanity Affair in the closing stages. The flashy chestnut was purchased by relatively new owners to racing (Mr. Bill & Hayley Blevins) at a BTBA Sale earlier this year, and that transaction has now resulted in the $22,000 purchase becoming the second bonus winner with this score. Obviously a talented horse at the shorter trips, questions her being as effective next season over further ground are now beginning to surface. While the runner-up lost her unbeaten tag in the process, she was not disgraced; and showed that she s a genuine filly as evidenced by her overcoming a costly mishap over a furlong out. Sweet Bottom Sarah s consistency continues as she did well to conquer the wide draw and still hit the board, despite being soundly beaten. Nekitta who had followed Vanity Affair home on two previous occasions, was in touch with the first two until about halfway, and could perhaps attribute her below-par performance to the loss a front shoe when rearing up violently in the starting gates before the field was sent f.

JOHN H & M MR. J. F. WEBB 1st nd rd Forecast Trifecta Analysis: There were no surprises in this handicap, as the well-back winner delivered as expected. The Boston John-trained SHARED ADVENTURE s growing reputation was given another boost when he again mauled the island s short-distance specialists. Now unbeaten in his last five attempts at the trip, the talented colt will go into next season as still one the most exciting prospects in training, leaving yet another display his ruthless acceleration firmly in the minds race fans. The son Wildcat Heir is devastating in his response when asked to quicken by the rider, and needs only a furlong to effectively demoralize the best opposition the local industry can gather. Not only did he win with consummate ease (the rider needed only to shake the reins in order to seal the outcome), but he did so carrying just 1lb below the high-weight in the event. Runner-up Purr Class was second best on the day, and this was quite encouraging for the mare who appears happier in ster ground conditions. Run Alke Run blazed a trail for the first four furlongs in his usual fashion, but was again a spent force when asked to step up the gallop by his rider. Recent winner and the ever consistent Janaki again earned a cheque for her effort despite not featuring in any major way in the closing stages.
