Horses must never have competed in any barrel race including, but not limited to, registered shows, open shows, play days, rodeos or other futurities prior to December 1, D derby is open to horses foaled from 2011 to 2013 (5 to 7 years of age). 3. Age of horse is determined as of January 1 of calendar year foaled. Photocopy of registration (front & back) or veterinarian s affidavit of year of birth and complete description of unregistered horses must accompany nomination in futurity or derby. All horses are subject to veterinary inspection and management reserves the right to reject any questionable entry. Substitutions allowed only in the event of unsoundness, illness or death of nominated horse. A $50 office charge will be assessed. Veterinarian s affidavit of proof must accompany substitutions. 4. $5000 future fortunes futurity bonus: Horses must be Future Fortunes enrolled, no fees. Please fill out attached FF entry form. For information visit futurefortunesinc.com 5. $5000 triple crown futurity bonus: Horses must be Triple Crown 100 enrolled, no fees. Must fill out a W9 form to receive bonus money, attached. FMI visit triplecrown100.com 6. There will be two goes. The first go will be Friday, June 1 at 1pm. The second go will be Saturday, June 2, at 8:30am. The derby will start one hour after the end of the futurity. There is a 5-second penalty for each knocked over barrel. Horses will run in reverse order the second go. Total time of the two goes will determine the average winners and championship standings. Futurity and Derby entries can roll their times to the Open 5D on Saturday. 7. futurity Nomination fees: A fee of $200 is required by March 1 for nomination, $150 to sustain nomination by April 2 and $150 by May 1 to complete entry. There is a $25 late fee for each missed payment. Late nominations will be accepted with sub mission of missed payments until June 1. There will be an office charge of $100 per horse. $400 per paid-up horse will be added to the purse. The division of the purse will be 33.3% to each go and to the average. 8. Distribution of 2D payout, 70% of total purse to 1D, 30% to 2D: 1 20 horses: 3 monies ( ) horses: 4 monies ( ) horses: 5 monies ( ) 51 & over horses: 6 monies ( ) 9. 1D derby Nomination fees: A fee of $75 is required by March 1 for nomination, $75 to sustain nomination by April 2 and $100 by May 1 to complete entry. There will be an office charge of $50 per derby horse. $200 per paid-up horse will be added to the purse. The division of the purse will be 25% to each go and 50% to the average. 10.
