Per 810KAR 1:018, furosemide on race day may only be administered by a veterinarian approved by the KHRC to perform the administration. Per Ky regulation, the cost of having furosemide administered on race day is $20. Your account will be debited. Horses will be treated in their stalls between 4 to 4 1/2 hours prior to their scheduled post time. An attendant must be present with the horse. Unattended horses will not be treated. Trainers should promptly notify the Stall Office if horses are not in their assigned stalls. TATTOOING: All owners who have horses tattooed on Keeneland's grounds, shall pay the $80 fee directly to the tattooer. Provided, however, if the horse's first career start is at Keeneland, the owner's account will be credited in the same amount. Horsemen parking passes are available at the security office. Coggins and EVH-1 requirements for horses entering Keeneland stable area can be found in the racing office or in the condition book (page 14). RACE SHUTTLE: Sallee will provide daily shuttle service to Keeneland from Churchill Downs, Trackside, Turfway Park and the Thoroughbred Center. VALID HEALTH and COGGINS CERTIFICATES MUST ACCOMPANY EACH HORSE TO RIDE ON THE SHUTTLE - NO EXCEPTIONS! Sign-up must be done by noon the day before the race.
