Diane is located in Chicago. Along with teaching clinics, Diane has been the coordinator for the George H. Morris Riding Clinic in Chicago for over 25 years. This clinic has been offering excellence in horsemanship for two (2) generations of riders in the Mid West area. Diane is Chairperson of the USHJA Zone 5 Jumper Committee. Other USHJA committees that Diane has served on include vice chair Zone 5 Hunter committee, Chairperson 3 years USHJA Clinic Program, 3 years Jr hunter Task Force member and a member of the High Performance Hunter (Hunter Derby) committee from 2006 to Clients of Diane s Telluride Farm, located in Chicago, IL., compete at the Grand Prix, Jr. Hunters, national Equitation, and local divisions. The principles of riding from leg, seat and hand are the focus of every lesson or clinic as the basics of flat work are the keys to success with all riders and horses. Discipline with a sense of humor has been the phrase most often used to describe

5 Diane. Hard work with a positive outcome is the goal in Diane s teaching or committee activities. Diane is an excellent horsewoman to have on the team in International showing, national horse shows or to figure out simple horse and rider solutions. Excellent stable manager and top care of the horses are accurate statements regarding Diane s focus. Orderly, efficient, basic horsemanship are the trademarks of the Telluride aisle at the farm or the tack room at shows. Making the connection between horsemanship and higher education is a priority for Diane. She graduated from the University of Denver (1976), and attributes much of her follow through in business and riding from principles learned accomplishing a college degree. Diane and others are responsible for the USHJA Zone 5 College Scholarship awarded annually to well deserving college bound junior riders since Reviewed and accepted by Diane Carney USEF# /8/12

CLASS SCHEDULE HUNTER DIVISION ENTRY PROCEDURE All horses intending to show in any division or class must pay the appropriate nomination fee and stall fee by the closing date of entries, April 5. Entries received after the close of
