10 USEF Rated Hunter Class Specs Amateur Owner Hunter: To be ridden by an Amateur Owner or an amateur member of the owner s family who is no longer eligible to compete as a junior exhibitor. Leased horses are not eligible and multiple ownership is not permitted unless all members are of the same family. An amateur who rides for a person outside the family may not ride in a class restricted to amateur owner in the same shows. Amateur Owner rider may, however, ride for other exhibitors in under saddle classes and for other Amateur Owner who have more than one entry in the under saddle class. 14 Declarations: Declarations must be made on the appropriate form in the show office the day before the class is held, no other form of adding will be accepted. The office will be open for declarations 30 minutes after the last class finishes. Add/scratches: Add/scratches can be ed to by 5pm the night before the class. Ties: All ties involving first place shall be jumped off. Ties for other than first place shall be decided by time taken in the first round. Order of Go: Order of Go will be posted online at each evening after the close of business as well as at the in-gate of the Jumper Ring at least one hour prior to the class. 15 USEF Jumper Class Specs TAKE2 is open to all Thoroughbreds verified by The Jockey Club registrations papers or lip tattoo number at time of entry. Raced and unraced Thoroughbreds are eligible for the program. A minimum of three entries must compete in each class to complete the division and award points toward the year-end TAKE2 High-Score Jumper Championships. Champion or reserve will not be awarded for.70m-1.00m Jumper divisions. The Low and High Children s/adult Jumper divisions will be run in accordance to USEF and USHJA Zone 2 rules and specs. 24 USEF/Princeton Show Jumping Rules & Regulations 1. The right is reserved to cancel, combine or divide any classes if entries so warrant. In addition, the right is reserved to refuse any entry before the start of the competition without being liable for compensation. 2. All Prize money will be distributed 30%-22%-15%-12%-11%-10% unless otherwise specified. 3. Championships will be offered in all sections and be calculated at for hunters. Jumpers will be except the final class will be with the bonus class breaking all ties. Championships will not be awarded in.70,.80,.90 and 1.00m Jumper divisions. 4. Prize money will be applied to the exhibitor s outstanding account if any, or mailed to the exhibitor as listed on the entry blank within 30 days of the close of the show provided a W9 has been completed and is on file in the show office showing the taxpayer for each horse. Checks void after 60 days. The Horse Show will not stop payment or duplicate awards for any lost check. 5. A 4% convenience fee will be charged for credit card transactions. 6. Refunds: No refunds on stalls after the closing date. If a horse becomes injured or ill prior to being shown in any class, entry fees will be refunded upon receipt of a Veterinarian s certificate. An office-processing fee of $25 per legitimately excused animal will be deducted from the refund. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6.
