1 A warm welcome to our 26th Netherdale Red Deer Elite Sire Sale. In last years catalogue I commented on how much the velvet quality and weight had improved, that trend has continued with this years 3 year old sires averaging 6.40kg of velvet. This years heaviest velvet head on offer is 10.06kg and the highest venison breeding value stag is kg EBV. The stags on offer are an excellent mix of progeny from our top Master Sires plus 403, a Sire on loan from John Scurr. 403 is an Adonis son who cut a 27.8kg head in late January These sires provide intending purchasers with a terrific selection of quality velvet and venison genetics. Every effort is made to cut the heads correctly, giving purchasers an honest weight and grade and eliminating any guess work on future performance. Approx 60 2 year old velvet stags will be offered, with good feedback on shifting ability and velvet weights from previous purchasers these will again be excellent buying. As in the past we are offering a good selection of young hinds with bloodlines from Marley, Harlem, Gatling, Wardlaw, Riley, Milestone and These young hinds offer top velvet genetics to intending purchasers. Limited semen will be available from Harlem and Hagley. Congratulations go to Mangapurakau Station, Waipukurea on winning the North Island 4 year old section and the Overall Champion title at the North Island Velvet Competition. The winning stag 325/08 was purchased at the 2012 Netherdale Annual Sire Stag Sale. 3 CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. The sale will be conducted by PGG Wrightson with the conditions of sale as set down by the New Zealand Stock and Station Agents Association, a copy of which is exhibited in the office on sale day. 2. Each lot becomes the purchaser s property and risk at the fall of the hammer. 3. Warranties and insurance are covered under separate headings. 4 Intending purchasers are required to register prior to commencement of sale. 5. The sale is conducted G.S.T. exclusive. 6. Terms will be strictly cash unless prior arrangements are made with the Auctioneers. Accounts not paid within 14 days of sale shall bear interest at current rate per annum from the date of sale. 7.
