ESQUIRE - A model of consistency since his first steps on the track. Is proven over course and distance and returns fresh and with legitimate ambition 2. EASTWOOD PARK - Hardy sort with form at this level. Close third in a Class B last time and after a short breather will have significantly more takers this time around 3. EMENCOURT D'AZIF - Decent dual-purpose colt that appreciates Enghien but better under the saddle and others preferred 4. EPILOBE DE BAILLY - Enjoying something of a renaissance since going barefoot. Finished a close third to (7) ENJOY DU BOURG last time and should not be far off the mark

2 5. ESKANDAR - Consistently gives everything he has. Won well at Vincennes three weeks ago and can repeat 6. EXCELLENT - Classy colt making his long-awaited comeback but unlikely to be stretched too much this time 7. ENJOY DU BOURG - Very hard to fault in last four outings. Gave a fine account at Vincennes two weeks ago and must be respected 8. EDEL DE VANDEL - Still a maiden but regularly acquits himself competitively and latest performances augur well for his prospects 9. ELU D'OCCAGNES - Decidedly talented but plagued by stride problems and will have few takers 10. EROS VICTORY - Unexceptional trotter with better form in the claiming division and can be ruled out 11. ESPRIT OCCAGNES - Moderate colt that did nothing to convince before being sent for a spell and unlikely to worry the opposition 12. ELIOTTNELL ONE - Very good sort but significantly better in the other code and can be passed over 13. ET VOILA QUICK - Unreliable but imposed with Nivard at Vincennes last time. Goop steps in here and while unlikely to repeat should still acquit himself respectably 14. ENDURO - Serious type that recently made his return from a long layoff. Hind shoes off for the first time and will have his chances After an excellent first season (5) ESKANDAR returned to competition with something of a bang and although in somewhat better company on this occasion can still impose. He can expect considerable opposition from the well-positioned (2) EASTWOOD PARK who left a good impression in a Class B last time out. (4) EPILOBE DE BAILLY is in grand form and being reined by Bazire will do his chances no harm. (13) ET VOILA QUICK will have to be content with a secondline start but is unshod behind after opening his account late last month and the Goop-factor can play a big part in his confirmation. 3 Race 2 1. ECLIPSE DU BOSCAIL - Hardy sort that has the inside line here and with shoes off for comeback should be able to make the first five here 2. EBENE DU LOGIS - Not the most reliable but appreciates Enghien and the draw will do her no harm 3. ELEGANTE DELO - Useful type that thrashed a good field at Laval recently and is ideally positioned to repeat 4. ETOILE SUEDOISE - Useful dual-purpose type but disappointing in last three and must reaffirm 5. ECLAIRCIE D'ATOUT - Still a maiden from 17 and while not without merit still appears to have too much to do 6. EDENA BELLA - Regular sort that has not been seen out since the autumn and will need the race 7. ETOILE DAMOURLONDE - Particularly solid since the start of the year and although having no references going left-handed must still be respected 8. EVA DU DERBY - Very hard to fault since going without hind shoes and although starting wide can still get in on the action 9. ELUE DU GADE - Moderate sort with a regressive profile and chances limited 10. EPONA DE L'AUNAY - Gave a good account on her only appearance here and in present form looks a player 11. EPEE DE L'EPINE - Unremarkable individual that is more at home in the claiming division these days and can be ruled out 12. ECALIERE - Went into her break on a low note and has picked up precisely where she left off 13. ENGALA DE LOU - Below-average sort at this level of competition and can be excluded 14. ECLIPSE D'ORIENT - Has twice raced respectably here. Not blessed with the draw but going unshod behind will do her chances no disservice 15. EASY GIRL - Unremarkable filly that is currently off the boil and will struggle to make any impact 16. ESPERANCE - Delicate but an obviously talented filly. Races with front shoes off for the first time and with application can win this It may be somewhat risky to consider (16) ESPERANCE a leading candidate

4 here given her lack of discipline and the poor draw but she is a filly of considerable ability and going unshod in front for the first time could prove just the ticket. (3) ELEGANTE DELO on the other hand is far more reliable - recently winning at Laval - and from the 3-spot can take advantage of the former's weakness. (10) EPONA DE L'AUNAY consistently gives her best and will have her chances - as will (8) EVA DU DERBY who has looked a different horse since racing without hind shoes.(7) ETOILE DAMOURLONDE is also enjoying a good run and cannot be discounted. (16) ESPERANCE - (3) ELEGANTE DELO - (10) EPONA DE L'AUNAY - (8) EVA DU DERBY - (7) ETOILE DAMOURLONDE

5 Race 3 1. BATATA - Has been very hard to fault since the start of the year. Scored with authority at Amiens early April and although sanctioned in all three at Enghien must still be considered dangerous 2. VICTOIRE DE COSSE - Useful sort that finished fourth to (10) BEAU DE GRIMOULT at Angers. Failed to confirm next time but likes Enghien and will be one to keep an eye on 3. ARIANE D'AND - Has progressed respectably of late but still has a lot more to find 4. VIVARIO DU BELLAY - Delicate but has nothing to prove at this level. Rebeche back on board and should give a competitive account 5. BUTCH CASSIDY - Not the most dependable of trotters but is reunited with Raffin after an 18-months' hiatus which could be the ticket to his redemption 6. AMITIES D'UDON - Mare of considerable talent. Sanctioned in last two ridden outings but with application will have a lot to give 7. AXOLA D'ABLON - Moderate sort that was a beaten 5th to (8) ABYDOS DU VIVIER last time and must show improvement 8. ABYDOS DU VIVIER - Fine dual-purpose type that won a Vincennes Class D smartly two weeks ago and could well double his money 9. JULIO DE LUXE - Classy sort that took no time getting back in the game following the break and under these conditions looks a leading candidate 10. BEAU DE GRIMOULT - Excellent campaigner that has never disappointed in the discipline. Won in style at Angers earlier in the month and again looks a serious player 11. VERDI DE TILLARD - Has looked a different horse since moving to Guarato's yard. Beat his personal best behind (9) JULIO DE LUXE at Caen last time and should again figure prominently The classy (9) JULIO DE LUXE has been a revelation since switching codes and given how well he has been performing of late will take all the beating. (10) BEAU DE GRIMOULT has not once disappointed under the saddle and the nature of his recent Angers victory bodes well for his chances. The prolific (8) ABYDOS DU VIVIER pulled a lot at Vincennes two weeks ago but still finished first past the post and will attract a lot of support. (11) VERDI DE TILLARD reassured last time out and will also have his chances.

7 Race 4 1. AUCH - Superbly consistent type that goes well at Enghien. Is currently in cracking form and should go close 2. TOTOO DEL RONCO - Classy individual with a lot of speed. Performed well at Vincennes last time and even though shod here is well-drawn and looks a player 3. BEST DU HAUTY - Quality horse that was not at his ease at Vincennes last time but has a plum draw behind the car and must be respected 4. UVINITO - Reassured connections over longer recently but is not the most effective in autostart events and despite the good draw is a moderate chance at best 5. VOELAND - Handy sort that put in a brace of decent efforts before the spell. Is barefoot for comeback with a serious driver in charge and looks competitively well in 6. VENEZIA DE MAI - Moderate trotter that finished ahead of (8) USTANG LUDOIS in a Cagnes G.III last month but would be better barefoot and others preferred this time 7. BLACK ATOUT - Has failed to make any impact in last four but has a particular liking for Enghien and should have a say in the outcome 8. USTANG LUDOIS - Has tended to show more in the claiming division but is not in the most elite of fields here and could pick up a small stake 9. AFRICAIN - Got back in the game at Lyon ten days ago looking more the horse of old. She appreciates the flatter tracks and can play a small role here 10. LOVER FACE - Delicate sort but put on a good show behind (15) DIAMOND last time and is sufficiently well placed to get a look in 11. ULTIMO DU DOUET - Respectable trotter but not the most reliable and will need to show improvement on recent Cavaillon performance 12. BONNE COPINE - Useful on a good day. Reassured in a Class C at Vincennes last weekend and despite the second-line start will have her supporters 13. CATHY A QUIRA - Hardy mare that is proven at a better level. Was not disgraced in a good bunch at Cagnes last time and with Monclin in the sulky will have her chances 14. BUZZ MEARAS - Well-regarded trotter but has not been seen out since the autumn and will struggle to make his mark 15. DIAMOND - Superb campaigner that imposed with attitude at Vincennes two weeks ago and despite the draw can double his money 16. POWELL BI - Previously a good sort but has since lost his way and no

8 chance on first start since late last summer The evergreen (15) DIAMOND imposed his will in no uncertain terms in a Class C at Vincennes two weeks ago and in similar form it is hard to see him being bettered here. (1) AUCH however is as reliable as they come these days and given his spot on the front line should be able to put up some resistance. (2) TOTOO DEL RONCO is also well-placed in front and even though shod should still confirm his fourth place in a superior bunch last time out. The tricky (10) LOVER FACE put on a good show behind the favourite earlier in the month and will have his supporters. (13) CATHY A QUIRA has had time to freshen up and can get a look in. (15) DIAMOND - (1) AUCH - (2) TOTOO DEL RONCO - (10) LOVER FACE - (13) CATHY A QUIRA - (9) AFRICAIN - (5) VOELAND - (3) BEST DU HAUTY

9 Race 5 1. AKIM DU CAP VERT - Has done nothing noteworthy at group level for some time and can be confidently ruled out 2. BELINA JOSSELYN - Superb mare and reportedly in excellent form. Beat (6) BOLD EAGLE in the Prix de France and is not incapable of repeating 3. CARAT WILLIAMS - Fine trotter that could possibly have won last time had he not faulted. Has Raffin at the helm for the first time and will have his chances 4. ANETTE DU MIREL - Modest sort being thrown into the mix despite not having the credentials. Makes (1) AKIM DU CAP VERT look an attractive proposition 5. BIRD PARKER - Has not been seen out since winning the Prix de Paris. Acquitted himself well in the race of reference and should again have a good hand to play 6. BOLD EAGLE - Ended his winless streak with a fine Criterium de Vitesse victory and can be assured the lion's share of support 7. BILLIE DE MONTFORT - Consistent sort that finished a good but ultimately unthreatening second at Cagnes last month and should again make the frame (6) BOLD EAGLE finally returned to winning ways when securing the Criterium de Vitesse last month and should be in a position to keep the Prix de l'atlantique title. He is unlikely to have it all his own way though after Bazire's bullish comments about (2) BELINA JOSSELYN who had the favourite's measure in the Prix de France. (7) BILLIE DE MONTFORT has a lot of speed and after trotting second at Cagnes is expected to put on another good show. (5) BIRD PARKER beat his personal best that day and although perhaps better over longer should still not be far from the action. (6) BOLD EAGLE - (2) BELINA JOSSELYN - (7) BILLIE DE MONTFORT - (5) BIRD PARKER

10 Race 6 1. EXTASY D'OURVILLE - Seventh in the race of reference on her first start at this level and unlikely to worry the opposition 2. ESTELADA DE FONT - Moderate filly that came third to (4) ECLIPSE DANICA in a Class A late last month but must find significantly more on this occasion 3. ETERNELLE DELO - Has shown considerable improvement this year and after finishing 5th to (13) ERMINIG D'OLIVERIE last time should generate more interest 4. ECLIPSE DANICA - Excellent campaigner that won her only start over course and distance. Sanctioned last time but can make a big impact if she gets off on the right foot 5. EVERGLADES - Unseen since trotting third to (7) ELSA DU POMMEREUX 2.5 months ago. Is barefoot for comeback and should not be overlooked 6. ESTOLA - Handy sort that is associated with Goop for the first time. Did not enjoy the best of luck last time and will be one to keep an eye on 7. ELSA DU POMMEREUX - Has looked very ordinary since winning a G.III early February and will have her work cut out 8. ESPELLA VEDAQUAISE - Deserves to take her chances at this level after two good efforts so far this term and with shoes off again should get a look in 9. EPICE TURGOT - Winner of her only start at Enghien. Put in a good effort to finish fourth in the race of reference and must be respected 10. ELEA MADRIK - Useful sort when applied. Did not displease on comeback earlier in the month and should logically show improvement 11. ELISIONE MAG - Seldom wins but caught the eye at Vincennes a fortnight ago and should not be far off the mark 12. ELITE DU RUEL - Beat (13) ERMINIG D'OLIVERIE earlier in the year and finished third to her two weeks ago. In similar form can again make the frame 13. ERMINIG D'OLIVERIE - Superb filly that recently won the G.II Prix Paul Leguerney with ease. Stays shod this time but should still have her way Even though she stays shod for this final prep ahead of the Criterium des 4 Ans (13) ERMINIG D'OLIVERIE is still the class act here and looks head and shoulders above her contemporaries. Leading opposition should take the form of the improving (4) ECLIPSE DANICA - despite being sanctioned early in the G.II Prix Paul Leguerney - and (12) ELITE DU RUEL who put in an excellent performance that day. (9) EPICE TURGOT who has looked a better horse since

11 going barefoot finished fourth on that occasion and should again figure prominently. (13) ERMINIG D'OLIVERIE - (4) ECLIPSE DANICA - (12) ELITE DU RUEL - (9) EPICE TURGOT

12 Race 7 1. EN VIKING - Moderate type that frequently bites off more than he can chew and has no realistic chance 2. EPSOM DES BROUSSES - Got the year off to a successful start but disappointing in last two and in this company will have too much to do 3. ETONNANT - Progressive sort that that lost his action at Vincennes last time but will appreciate this flat track and should figure prominently 4. ERODE LUDOIS - Useful but has not been seen out since early December and will not be given a hard race 5. EARL SIMON - Fine colt that left quite the impression when second in the Prix Phaeton despite a punctured tyre and if all goes to plan should secure his first G.II 6. EL VILLAGIO - Can prove a handful but has talent in spades and with application will be expected to go close 7. EURO DU CHENE - Capable sort but disappointing late last season. Has not been seen since and is unlikely to shake things up 8. ENINO DU POMMEREUX - Regularly gives a solid account. Came a close fifth in the race of reference and with Bazire in the sulky again should acquit himself competitively 9. EXPRESS JET - Not always the most dependable but has been firing on all cylinders of late and must be afforded respect 10. EASY DES RACQUES - Finished an excellent third in the Prix Phaeton and in similar form could again make the frame 11. ERIDAN - Multiple G.II-winning colt that has fallen foul of the stewards in last two. Tends to prefer shorter but on good behaviour should put on a big show 12. ECU PIERJI - Superior class of horse but out of the picture in last two. Stays shod this time and it should not be long before he gets back in the game (5) EARL SIMON has enjoyed a superb career so far and after finishing second second in the G.II Prix Phaeton - despite a punctured tyre - on his first start at this level looks the horse to beat here. (3) ETONNANT was sanctioned that day but has been very impressive this year and with Bjorn Goop back at the helm will have a major role to play. (6) EL VILLAGIO is very hard to fault when applied and should finish close provided he can stay in stride. (10) EASY DES RACQUES put on a fine show behind the favourite a fortnight ago and will also garner support.

14 Race 8 1. CASBAH WOOD - Appears to have lost her way this year and although unlucky last time must still raise her game 2. CHACHOO BOND - Reliability not her strong suit but still has merit. Stays shod for second start back and others preferred 3. CARAIBES VOIRONS - Has won seven of nine races when barefoot. Returns from a break but has shoes off for the occasion and can add another win to her tally 4. CALINE DU LEVANT - Finished a good third at Angers on only start with Abrivard. Stays shod this time but one to note all the same 5. COMTESSE DU CLOS - Proved useful last season when barefoot. Yet to get into her stride this term but is barefoot this time and could strike 6. COMTESSE DE LATZ - Regular for the most part but will need to improve on recent Rambouillet performance 7. CHERIE CASH - In flying form of late. Gave a decent account last time under these conditions and with hind shoes off will have a good hand to play 8. CORNALINE D'ORIENT - In the frame in last five races she has finished. Gets a Bazire drive this time and looks a serious player 9. COKIMAHA - Not the most dependable of trotters but is confirmed here and in current condition could pick up a small stake 10. CHARMEUSE MAJYC - Not the most productive of horses and latest efforts leave a lot to be desired 11. CAPUCINE DANCER - Has never made any impact here and even with Anne in the sulky and shoes off still appears to have her work cut out The fine (5) COMTESSE DU CLOS has three races in her this year and should be fully fit by now. She is barefoot for the occasion and from the 5-spot can get right back down to business. (8) CORNALINE D'ORIENT benefits from a top driver here and although drawn wide must be considered a serious contender. (3) CARAIBES VOIRONS is well-placed behind the car and given how she performs barefoot could prove the spoiler here. (7) CHERIE CASH has been on a roll of late and cannot be discounted. SHASA - Fifth in claiming races at Longchamp and Bordeaux. Tough test here today 2. GOLDWIN LA COLMINE - Seventh of eight behind Melusina on his debut in a claimer at Saint-Cloud this month 3. NAKAKANDE - Well beaten fifth on his debut in the UK last month. Place prospects here today 4. STORM KATY - Well beaten sixth of seven behind Sexy Metro on her debut at Chantilly earlier this month 5. GOUTTE DE LUNE - Fair efforts in claiming races at Longchamp and Bordeaux and not without a chance 6. YOUNG CITY - Beaten a long way in both career starts to date and needs to improve to have a chance 7. STREIF - Fourth of six behind Eldanza on her debut at Fontainebleau last month. Respected 8. GREAT - By Pedro The Great and is the third foal to run out of a dam that has yet to produce a winner 9. WABBA - By Maiguiri and is the third foal to run out of a dam that has produced one winner 10. ELEVEN ONE - By Kheleyf and is the second foal to run out of a dam that has produced a winner 11. DIVA MORITA - By Pedro The Great and is the sixth foal to run out of a dam that has produced three winners 12. QUEEN MORNY - By Kendargent and is the fourth foal to run out of a dam that has produced one winner

17 A half brother to Wimalya who was a handicap winner at Deauville in December the newcomer (9) WABBA is out of a dam that was a Listed winner. He can make a winning debut here at the expense of (5) GOUTTE DE LUNE who has shown some promise in claiming races at Longchamp and Bordeaux. (12) QUEEN MORNY and (7) STREIF are two more to consider. 18 Race 2 1. SANDOSIDE - Nine time winner from ninety runs but latest few efforts not great. Chance in this company 2. BIG LETTERS - Won a Class G handicap at Deauville in December but a poor run at Pau in January 3. CARLTON CHOICE - Creditable fourth in a Class G claimer on the sand at Chantilly five days ago. Respected 4. MAMOURG - Disappointing towards the end of last year but was runner up on his only start at this track 5. TAMIL NADU - Runner-up in a Class G race at Montlucon early this month but a poor run since then 6. FINN CLASS - Formerly smart sort in the UK and a creditable effort at Moulins this month 7. BONITA CHICA - Has not run since last October but has some fair form and could grab a place here today 8. BALLE REELLE - Disappointing recent form and will need to improve on that to feature here 9. AVIATOR - Three time winner from sixty eight starts but easy enough to look elsewhere 10. APSISGIRL - Is zero wins from forty five career runs and will likely remain that way after today 11. DARK KRISTAL - Five time winner from fifty eight and runner up in a handicap at Pornichet this month 12. NATALEX - Has not done anything of significance for some time and can be overlooked 13. HIGH TOWER - Is zero wins from twelve starts and cannot build a case for her here today 14. EASTERN PROMISE - Just the one win from forty one but better signs the last few times so has an each way shout 15. GOLDEN TEMPO - Has not shown much in four career runs to date and hard to recommend here A winner of a claimer at Pornichet in his first French start in February (6) FINN CLASS had a couple of poor runs before a creditable fourth at Moulins earlier this month. He gets the vote ahead of (1) SANDOSIDE who is well capable at

20 Race 3 1. PALYA - A triple winner from twenty four runs and is not without a chance here today 2. CONTROVERSIAL LADY - Won a couple of claimers in France last year and can be in the mix again today 3. WIMALYA - Good record in claimers and handicaps and ran well here last month. Consider 4. BELOBOG - Comfortable winner of a Class 2 race at Bordeaux recently and must be respected 5. BAFANA LINNGARI - A winner at Lignieres recently and runner up in a claimer here last month. Can be in the mix 6. SENS DES AFFAIRES - Has not done anything of significance for some time. Others preferred today 7. ZANZIDON - Unplaced in a Class 1 race at Saint-Cloud last time out and plenty to do here 8. TERRIBLE AIR - Unplaced in all three starts to date. Others preferred on handicap debut 9. A CORPS PERDU - Has not shown enough in four runs so far this year to warrant inclusion 10. PLAYCITY - Unplaced in all five career starts to date and has not run since last June (3) WIMALYA was raised 3 Kg after winning a handicap at Deauville in December but has since dropped 2 Kg and ran well when third in a claimer here last month. She can reverse placings with (5) BAFANA LINNGARI who was second in that race and has since won at Lignieres. The top two in the weights (1) PALYA and (2) CONTROVERSIAL LADY are next best. 21 Race 4 1. SOUTH DAKOTA - Capable sort in this division and ran well at Tarbes this month. Respected 2. AGAMI - One success from seventeen runs and a fair effort at Saint-Cloud last time out 3. SHADED - Has not run since last October when third in a claimer at Montauban. Plenty to do here 4. O'GOSHI - Had not run for over a year before a close second in a Class E race at Durtal this month. Interesting 5. SECRET PEARL - Her last three start have been disappointing. Could have a say if reproducing earlier form 6. GASALTO - One success from twenty six runs but looks a bit of an outsider based on recent form 7. SIRMA TRAOU LAND - Has won half a dozen times from thirty eight runs including this year but still has work to do 8. METEORITE - Runner-up for the second time this year at Chantilly last month and is on a fair mark 9. HIGHLY BAY - One success from fifteen runs but has been below par in four starts so far this year 10. HAWELL D'EVAILLE - She is a maiden after twelve starts and hardly sets the pulse racing here either 11. ZING - Just the one win from thirty nine starts and others look better placed now for this 12. SALUT FRIPOUILLE - Both wins from twenty nine lifetime starts came last season and needs to get back to that form Supplemented for this race (1) SOUTH DAKOTA is back on a fair mark and ran well when third to Elusive Blue in a Class G handicap at Tarbes last time out. She can record her second career success today. (8) METEORITE has been runner up in two handicaps already this year and can be in the mix here. (4) O'GOSHI and (2) AGAMI are next best. 23 Race 5 1. LINNGARIO - A close second behind Stratonika at Toulouse last time out in December. Has to be respected 2. CAVALSEULLES - Won a maiden at Pornichet last November but disappointing on handicap debut at Chantilly this month 3. LADY KYRIA - Two career wins came at this track last season and could be well up for this challenge 4. LAMPOON - In decent form lately winning at Saint-Brieuc and runner up in a Class E race at Durtal 5. GOLD D'AZE - Couple of decent efforts in handicaps at Pornichet and Durtal recently. Place prospects 6. VIF DU VAUDUDON - Third behind Sheilding in a Class E race at Durtal this month. More required here 7. BEEP BOP PELEM - Runner-up in three of her last four starts and is one for the short list again today 8. AHORITA - Just the one placing in ten events and is surely the complete outsider of this field The claims of (6) ARECIBO here are self-evident and the colt appeals as nearly the best bet on the entire card. He sets the bar for the rest of the opposition following a consistent string of efforts and none more so than when winning and second at Chantilly already this season.
