Has shown glimpses of ability in maidens. Enters the equation 8. MAKHZEN - Showed better intention last time at Maison-Laffitte but has limited ability and does not look a priority 9. (4) ANGE OU DEMON was fitted with cheekpieces in his last two winning starts and same headgear is used today after a below-par run at Chanitlly without it ten days ago. (5) BERLIN CALLING and (9) ACUARELA can

make the frame. (1) RAINBOW BLACK - (4) ANGE OU DEMON - (5) BERLIN CALLING - (9) ACUARELA

Race 2 1. COURVITE - Has run well on both starts since back from a lengthy break. Player 2. QUINZE DE LA ROSE - Has done little to impress for new yard in Italy. MELODIE D'UN SOIR - Useful over both fences and hurdles. Ships a long way for this. Off since March and betting will guide 5. LA MADELEINE - Never a factor on both starts back from a spell. Steps down in grade and cannot be ruled out 6. CLINT - Much improved last run when second over course and distance. Can go off the mark today 7. (9) YADISSIME has shown significant ability over hurdles and looks interesting on his first attempt over the bigger obstacles today. Although he was beaten ten lengths over course and distance last time, (6) CLINT is an improving horse and he should be on the shortlist. (1) COURVITE - (9) YADISSIME - (6) CLINT - (7) CHACHA AND RHUM

First time blinkered but still plenty to find 10. STARRY DREAM - Well held on both starts and unlikely to make an impact today The way (1) WETROV trounced the field at Argentan makes him look almost unstoppable in this race. Trainer Jess Parize takes the cheekpieces off (2) REBEL D'ANS but this is unlikely to prove enough to challenge the selection. (6) FIRSTNEVERFOLLOWS was very discreet on his debut at Chantilly and things can only improve here. (1) WETROV - (2) REBEL D'ANS - (6) FIRSTNEVERFOLLOWS - (8) SHYAMALA

Race 4 1. GOOD LUCKY - Tailed off last on comeback run at Nantes. Had shown promises last spring. Question mark 2. COVERINA - Two poor efforts over hurdles following three modest runs on the flat. Not a realistic option 8. REA D'HONORE - Yard is not renowned for having success wit newcomers so best to watch 9. MAGGUY BLUE - Newcomers from this yard usually need the run and best to watch betting for clues 10. DAISY DU MOULIN - Has shown no ability in seven starts on the flat and no signs of encouragement on hurdling debut. Ignore 11. AMAZING SEA PEARL - Three modest efforts on the flat. First time for new yard. Watch unless betting suggests otherwise (1) GOOD LUCKY looked a very promising prospect last spring at Auteuil, and ran way too bad on return to action at Nantes. He is given the benefit of the doubt and gets the vote. Stablemate (2) ECEPARTI has enjoyed three good runs in this discipline thus far and represents the best alternative should the selection perform below-par. Newcomer (5) POLIVAL is next ahead of likely improver (4) ETOO SPORT. (1) GOOD LUCKY - (2) ECEPARTI - (5) POLIVAL - (4) ETOO SPORT

ARRATRIXIE - Down the field in all three starts to date and cannot be worth any consideration 16. VALOUH KATE - Newcomer from top-local connections. Definitely worth a look in the betting

A slight preference is given to (1) ATHOS D'AZUR who only went down by a head in a decent handicap at Nancy ten days ago and a repeat of this effort could be enough to see him go one better here. Although she is not the most consistent (3) QUALISAGA could be a danger if she comes on from her last run at Compiegne. (10) PER PERDES, (16) VALOUH KATE and (13) GRAZILLA SHAKY are best of the remainders. (1) ATHOS D'AZUR - (3) QUALISAGA - (10) PER PERDES - (16) VALOUH KATE - (13) GRAZILLA SHAKY

Race 6 1. BUT EN BLANC - Hard fought win in an identical race one month ago at Vichy. Fell on sole start over course and distance 2. First time in a cross country chase 6. SERKO D'ACE - Runner-up at Nancy one month ago. Useful and reliable sort in this disicpline but seldom wins races 7. Has credentials in this discipline and must be respected Reunited with Jonathan Plouganou, (1) BUT EN BLANC makes plenty of appeal on his Vichy success and could add up to his tally despite a heavy weight of 74 kg. Italian raider (4) ALL ABOUT COSSIO tends to go well when he stays up on his four legs and has to be closely monitored. (3) TYROL BLEU should give a good account of himself before being aimed at Pau this winter. (1) BUT EN BLANC - (4) ALL ABOUT COSSIO - (3) TYROL BLEU - (6) SERKO D'ACE

Race 7 1. MASTER DAN - Won an identical race here off same mark one year ago 2. AVICENNA - Made a promising comeback run in a maiden at Le Mans. On a tough mark first time in handicap 3. PORTALAY - Easy winner of a handicap over course and distance last month. Has a four pounds penalty to defy 4. SIMANO - Two pounds below last winning mark (over course and distance last March). Three pounds below last winning mark 7. MARGIE'S ROCK - Six pounds above last winning mark. Disappointing last start at Lyon. Has a bit to do 8. MEHITABEL - Can boasts a sound course record. FONTVIEILLE - Won three from last five starts and looks competitive off current mark 11. BIG HENRY - Ran better than last placing suggests at Lyon. Would have preferred a longer trip 12. RASTIGNAC - Returns from a thirteen months absence and unlikely to trouble the judge 13. KOURDO - Showed better intentions in last start. On a career low mark and can surprise 14. BLUVIDA - Well held in last two starts in claimers and has quite a bit to find 15. GOLDEN CLUB - Has little room for maneuver off current mark but is 2/4 over course and distance. Outside chance Plenty of in-form contenders here. (1) MASTER DAN has a good record at this track and went close at Compiegne last time. (3) PORTALAY got back on the scoresheet last September and still has potential despite a four pounds penalty. (9) WALENTY has done very well since fitted with blinkers and should make his presence felt once again.

(1) MASTER DAN - (3) PORTALAY - (9) WALENTY - (11) BIG HENRY

Race 8 1. PERSEVERE - Good last effort in a claimer at Montier en Der. 15 pounds below last winning mark at present 2. MISS RAFAEL - Seldom wins races but good last effort over course and distance and cannot be ruled out 3. BEAUBAHHARE - Veteran who has done nothing of note in three starts back from a break 4. MISS BOWL - Five poor efforts this season. Not a realistic option and best to ignore 13. BAHAA - Below-par latest but has a first rate chance on the back of his two previous efforts including one over track and trip 14. DOUCEKA - Down the field in all three starts this year and unlikely to make an impact Judged on his narrow defeat at Compiegne at the end of last month, (10) SUHALI looks the safest option in this modest contest where surprises are likely to arise. (4) DELIA DICI has shown good recent form and should give it another good shot. (2) MISS RAFAEL tends to run well at this course and should also be hugely respected. (13) BAHAA is well-weighted and should make amends after her last below-par effort.

(10) SUHALI - (4) DELIA DICI - (2) MISS RAFAEL - (13) BAHAA

LYON-LA SOIE - 25th October Trainer of the day : Fabrice Vermeulen (501, 603, 703) Jockey of the day : Christophe Soumillon (105, 202, 307, 404, 501, 701, 803) Horse of the day : First Frost (404) Dark Horse : Oriental Ghost (606) Race 1 1. LESPARRE - Dam was a dual winner and both her foals have won to date 2. EAGLE'S EYE - Dam was smart Group winner and this is her first foal. Interesting 3. TESTON - Dam won five times and all her four foals have scored including two smart types 4. LEARNING TO FLY - Dam was a maiden and has already produced one smart winner with her first progeny 5. SERAKALA - Dam won once and all her four foals have won including one good type 6. ARUSHA - Dam was unraced and one of her three foals have scored to date 7. TERRE SAONOISE - Dam won once and has produced seven winners from thirteen foals to race including two very smart types 8. NOPICNOCHAT - Dam was a dual winner and one of her two foals have scored 9. ENCHANTED ROSE - Dam was unraced and her first foal hat yet to score so far 10. AIR DU TEMPS - Dam was unraced and her only foal to race has yet to win 11. MIDNIGHT - Dam was smart and has produced some smart types to date This is a tough opener for unraced two year olds with several of them having really nice pedigrees. There is sure to be a lot of confidence behind the Rouget inmate (5) SERAKALA whose dam has produced all her four foals to be successful. It could be the start of a great day for her jockey, Christophe Soumillon. (11) MIDNIGHT and (4) LEARNING TO FLY could be smart along with (3) TESTON.

(5) SERAKALA - (11) MIDNIGHT - (4) LEARNING TO FLY - (3) TESTON

Race 2 1. POLKARENA - Former six time winner but out of form in last three so needs to show more 2. GRANTS PASS - Suddenly in winning form having being successful in last two 3. INTO THE ROCK - She has won six lifetime but last couple of efforts leave a lot to be desired 4. MANOLITA - One win from eight runs but seems to have a lot on here 5. SQUARE SET - Rattled up a hat trick earlier in the year and could bounce back today 6. NEVER SAY NEVER - Five time winner from thirty two and could have an each way chance 7. KENCHAROVA - Five time winner from twenty seven but looks to have a bit of work to do 8. KARIVRE - Fair seven time winner from forty two but needs to brush up a bit 9. CORK - Dual winner from nineteen and runner up in last two so every chance 10. HUNDRED ACRE - Twice a winner from thirteen but last few efforts are not great 11. EARLY ENOUGH - Off the mark on his latest start at Argentan so can be expected to go close 12. ARIZONA RUN - Thirteen time winner from eighty one but others make more appeal This looks pretty good for (9) CORK. The selection has gone close in his last two outing both at Nancy and over this course and distance so the nine year old gelding looks sure to go very close here. (5) SQUARE SET was in excellent form earlier in the campaign. (2) GRANTS PASS has to have a shot too ahead of (1) POLKARENA. (9) CORK - (5) SQUARE SET - (2) GRANTS PASS - (1) POLKARENA

Race 3 1. HALLSOME - Previous six time winner but it has been a while since last one 2. PICKING UP PIECES - Seven time winner from sixty three and in reasonable placed form 3. KALIBUR - Was going for a hat trick when fifth at Nancy last time so in form 4. BEARHEART - Eleven time winner from ninety four including two goes back at Deauville 5. RENZO - Four time winner from twenty four but looks out of form at present 6. COME AND FIND ME - Seven time winner from forty four but had a lapse last time 7. GREY VENDOME - Triple winner from forty and looked a little bit better last time 8. NOBLE RED - Both wins came back in Missed all of last year but seems to be returning to form 9. MERAPI - Has won six from fifty but looks to be on the downgrade now 10. GREYMLINS - Twelve time winner from a century of outings so merits respect 11. LEVELYNE - Triple winner from thirty three and not a bad effort last time 12. MAGIC MILES - Just the one win from twenty six and only two poor runs this campaign (7) GREY VENDOME showed some old sparkle last time when running a very nice third at Marseille-Vivaux and now has the assistance of the mercurial Christophe Soumillon in a bid for win number four. He looks well primed for a big effort ahead of the likes of (10) GREYMLINS who reached a century of runs last time. (8) NOBLE RED and (1) HALLSOME should go well. (7) GREY VENDOME - (10) GREYMLINS - (8) NOBLE RED - (1) HALLSOME

Race 4 1. FAST LIGHTNING - Sole success came in Germany last year but not so good in this campaign 2. CAJARIAN - Dual scorer this season but can be difficult to predict at times 3. MISTY LOVE - Netted three wins earlier this year and seems to be coming back to a good mark 4. FIRST FROST - Very good hit rate with five from sixteen and a likely player 5. STRACCIATELLA - Has collected four victories already this year so knows how to get the job done 6. SECRET RECIPE - Was going for the hat trick when just denied at Lyon- Parilly last time so a major player 7. VARING - Thrice a winner this campaign already and looks sure to be thereabouts 8. FAVROS - Triple winner from thirty five and looks a player of sorts for this 9. LE ROCK - Made it win number from from twenty six last time in a claimer 10. DARK DYNAMIC - Remains a maiden after a dozen runs and looks like that will not change 11. SECRET RUN - Triple winner from forty five but looks an out of form horse A few of these entries certainly know where the lollipop is situated so it is competitive. (4) FIRST FROST has a very nice profile and gets the vote to further enhance his impressive hit rate in the hands of Soumillon. (6) SECRET RECIPE arrives here in splendid form with every chance. (7) VARING and (2) CAJARIAN look dangerous too. (4) FIRST FROST - (6) SECRET RECIPE - (7) VARING - (2) CAJARIAN

Race 5 1. PORSENNA - Very good strike rate with thirteen from forty six and sure to go close 2. CATCH DREAM - Six time winner from thirty six and has a pretty good record overall 3. PERLE NONANTAISE - Triple winner from twenty nine and chance on best form so worth noting 4. EZPELETAKO - Eight time winner from fifty six but others make more appeal 5. CANDY REAL - Won on debut last season and basically can be forgiven a below par run last time 6. HANDCHOP - Triple winner from fifteen but appears to be well out of form now 7. ROCK TO THE MOON - Triple winner from twenty one but may find a few of these too strong 8. THAILAND - Placed in three of his eight outings but looks a big outsider here 9. TATORT - Made it win number seven two starts back. This will be tougher Christophe Soumillon takes the mount on (1) PORSENNA and there is every chance that the entire can gain victory number fourteen under the top jockey at what should be a reasonable price. (5) CANDY REAL looks to pose the greatest threat while (3) PERLE NONANTAISE could be a danger if recapturing best form. (2) CATCH DREAM can fill fourth. (1) PORSENNA - (5) CANDY REAL - (3) PERLE NONANTAISE - (2) CATCH DREAM

Race 6 1. TITUS MILLS - Very good strike rate with eighteen wins and currently on a hat trick 2. SPEED OF SOUND - Five time winner from seventeen and entitled to respect here 3. PROPHETS PRIDE - Impressive hit rate with seventeen wins from forty nine and well regarded for this 4. ANSE MARCEL - Triple winner from twenty three and pretty consistent in the main 5. PRINCE OF GRACIE - Seventh on debut at Nancy but did show something there 6. ORIENTAL GHOST - One success in native Germany and could be the surprise package here 7. CELLALANDO - Triple winner from fifty one and seems in good heart at present 8. CHANSON DU SOIR - Made it win number four last time out but still appears to have too much on 9. LA BACHIR - She is zero from nine and looks a very unlikely winner in this There might be a bit of a turn up here in the shape of (6) ORIENTAL GHOST who only has one career win to his name in his native Germany but he has put up some notable other performances and this event should not take too much winning. (3) PROPHETS PRIDE and (1) TITUS MILLS will be on the premises for sure. (2) SPEED OF SOUND can have a look in too. (6) ORIENTAL GHOST - (3) PROPHETS PRIDE - (1) TITUS MILLS - (2) SPEED OF SOUND

Race 7 1. YOUMZAIN STAR - Won nicely on debut and two decent placed efforts since so has every chance 2. SWANSEA BEACH - Four good efforts and won on the penultimate start of those 3. DANCE COLONY - Improved form to get off the mark on third and last start at Pornichet 4. RANNAN - Unplaced on all three runs but has shown some ability in those 5. PLAVALINE - Fourth on debut and good runner up in her last two and might go one better 6. VADLANA - Off the mark on her tenth and last run so confidence should be enhanced 7. JESSY LOVE - Three decent places in her last runs but will need to improve to win (3) DANCE COLONY had shown glimpses of ability in her first two runs before showing much improved form when comfortably scoring at Pornichet-La Baule and with that confidence booster behind her will take a lot of beating in this. (1) YOUMZAIN STAR looks best placed of the others to mount a strong challenge. (5) PLAVALINE and (4) RANNAN can grab the places. (3) DANCE COLONY - (1) YOUMZAIN STAR - (5) PLAVALINE - (4) RANNAN

Race 8 1. BUBBLE BATH - Five time winner from twenty one including here last time 2. LOUVE SAGE - Triple winner this term and can be forgiven one lapse so noted 3. ANGUILEO - Off the mark three starts back and could play a part once more 4. GRAFFITI - One win from fourteen but latest three runs are off putting 5. SUBLISSIMO - Triple winner from a dozen attempts but maybe not another one here 6. MY STRONG BOY - Runner up in three of his last five but could still be a maiden after this 7. L'ASSAUT SIX - She got off the mark two starts back but needs a big one here 8. TEDDY EDWARD - No place in nine outings and is easy to dismiss once more (1) BUBBLE BATH looks a pretty decent wager here to follow up a hard fought success over this course and distance earlier this month and although the resultant penalty seems a tad harsh he should be capable of a very bold show. (2) LOUVE SAGE will not go down without a fight. (3) ANGUILEO and (5) SUBLISSIMO can follow home. (1) BUBBLE BATH - (2) LOUVE SAGE - (3) ANGUILEO - (5) SUBLISSIMO

ENGHIEN - 25th October Trainer of the day : Paul.J.P. Hagoort (212, 603, 602) Jockey of the day : Alexandre Abrivard (305, 408, 501, 609, 704) Horse of the day : Destino Dodville (302) Dark Horse : Exil de Loiron (710) Race 1 1. AH LA STAR - Very little to like on her formsheet this year and can be confidently written off 2. A TOI VENUS - Blows hot and cold but tends to acquit herself respectably at Enghien and worth a second look 3. BARBIE DE JANEIRO - Regularly in the thick of things and in good shape. Raffin back at the helm and from the first row will be no pushover 4. BELLE DE MANCHE - Has looked a different horse for the past three months and is reunited with Franck Nivard. Barefoot on the front line and can impose 5. ACIDALIE DARCHE - On cracking form but rarely seen left-handed. That said it would be foolhardy to ignore her 6. ADELE DE BOISNEY - Useful trotter that has been pleasing in the amateur division lately. In better company this time but still not to be entirely overlooked 7. BELLE DE CERPI - Hardy type but sanctioned in her last three going lefthanded and others preferred 8. BOGOTA D'HERFRAIE - Enjoyed a productive summer and is confirmed at Enghien. Sanctioned under the saddle last time but can still get a look in here 9. BOCA ECUS - One of the most consistently productive horses in the field. Impressed on comeback here a fortnight back and should again be good enough to make the frame 10. VERBALISEE - Has finished in the first three just once this year and will struggle to make her presence felt 11. BOHEME DU JUILLE - Blows hot and cold but caught the eye at Reims last week. Incurs no handicap this time and looks a serious player 12. BANQUIERE - Got back in the game at Le Croise-Laroche mid-month. Has a liking for Enghien and although incurring the penalty can still give a competitive account 13. ALTESSE DU BANNEY - Not the most reliable and although having

encouraged at Amiens early October can still expect to find this a stiff test 14. BAILEYSE - Decent mare that has not been as effective of late but is unshod all four this time and worth a small consideration 15. AH MON IDYLLE - Complicated but has some ability. Unraced for the past two months though and may need the outing 16. BAMBINA DU PARC - Modest type in this branch of the business and has no realistic chance 17. ALLIANCE DE CHENU - Won three on the trot before finishing fifth at Chartres. Returns to racing unshod behind and will have her supporters 18. BARAKA DE BELLOU - Swung back into form earlier last month before winning a Quinte next time but the extra 25m relegates her to more a place chance on this occasion (4) BELLE DE MANCHE has been on flying form since late July. Nivard is back on board and with shoes off can win this from the first line. (11) BOHEME DU JUILLE also benefits from a good spot in front and if her recent Reims effort is anything to go by she should make a big impact. The ever-consistent (9) BOCA ECUS made a solid comeback over course and distance two weeks ago and also looks in with a decent shout. (3) BARBIE DE JANEIRO regularly acquits herself competitively - she trotted fifth to the favourite last time and should again put on a good show. The reinvigorated (18) BARAKA DE BELLOU breaks from the back but cannot currently be criticised and will have her part to play. (4) BELLE DE MANCHE - (11) BOHEME DU JUILLE - (9) BOCA ECUS - (3) BARBIE DE JANEIRO - (18) BARAKA DE BELLOU

Race 2 1. CAUCASIEN - Respectable individual but unseen for the past two months and will need the run 2. COLIBRI DES PINS - Serious trotter that has been impressive of late and can wrap this up if he can get off on the right foot 3. CROMY - Gives a good account when he can keep his action together and on present form looks an interesting outsider 4. COCO DE ROCHA - Regularly puts everything into his racing but needs to find more on this occasion 5. CRACK DE PEBRISY - Left a good impression beating Cirio over course and distance during the summer but thrashed in last two and not a player 6. CONCERTO ROYAL - Got back down to business when second at Laval midmonth following a very lean spell. Unlikely to go as close but still a minor place chance 7. CHERI CHERI - Has not enjoyed the best of runs this year and not a realistic proposition 8. CLOVIS MONTAVAL - Alternates the good with the less good but has won three from four recently when barefoot and must be afforded respect 9. CIRIO - Regular and in very good shape. Appreciates Enghien and with shoes off again can expect to go close 10. CAMPO JOSSELYN - Moderate type that has never made any impact at this level and is not about to change his ways 11. CRISTAL DU PERCHE - Occasionally tricky but otherwise rarely disappoints. Not once out of the first three all year and can play a leading role 12. CLASSIC WORD - Very hard to knock since the spring and should be good enough to finish in the mix 13. CHEMSAK VEDAQUAIS - Not the most dependable but has ability. Scored at La Capelle last time but incurs the penalty here and others preferred 14. CHOCOLAT DU BOURG - Undeniably capable trotter but has placed just once in last eleven and the extra 25m does nothing to help his prospects 15. CASH MAKER - Highly impressive over the winter but well beaten in all three this term and can be ruled out The consistent (2) COLIBRI DES PINS could have won at Laval last time had he not broken stride at the start but if behaved should make amends. Barring the

occasional sanction (11) CRISTAL DU PERCHE has been a model of consistency and is not incapable of winning this. Since mid-july (9) CIRIO has looked a horse reborn and with shoes off again can play a major role. (12) CLASSIC WORD is another that regularly gives his best and under these conditions looks a player. (2) COLIBRI DES PINS - (11) CRISTAL DU PERCHE - (9) CIRIO - (12) CLASSIC WORD

Race 3 1. DIAMANT DE MONCHEL - Has looked very ordinary in the claiming category of late and chances slim at best 2. DESTINO DODVILLE - Winner of four from six to date and latterly in style at Vincennes. Good spot behind the car and expected to repeat 3. DAMIER ROUGE PHI - Beginning to show improvement but still not at his best and can be ruled out 4. DANCER - Moderate sort with better aptitude for the other code and on current form will have few friends 5. DI DOO DI DOO DAH - Seen right-handed for the most part but form not in doubt and from the five-spot can give this a good go 6. DJANGO DU BOCAGE - Regularly acquits himself when applied. First time at Enghien but comes here off a solid second at Chartres and appears to be in with a legitimate chance 7. DYSTOCIK JELOCA - Got back in the game at Laval earlier this month when barefoot for the first time. Just front shoes off here but one to note all the same 8. DODDY DE VIVE - Can prove a handful but currently enjoying a rewarding run and even though wide on the first line should still pick up a cheque 9. DERBY MIX - Complicated trotter but has significant ability. Given an easy prep at Agen and expected to show more this time 10. DELPHOS - Likes Enghien but tends to go better over longer and others preferred 11. DECLIC DU SOLEIL - Won over course and distance earlier in the summer but has raced modestly since and must reaffirm 12. DREAM - Productive for the most part but currently off the boil and not in the reckoning 13. DIRTY LOVING - Previously a good type but has done nothing from four since the break and can be ruled out 14. DERBY CASH - Won over track and trip mid-august but twice found wanting since and with shoes on can be ignored 15. DJANGO DU BANNEY - Made good progress before being sent for a spell. Starts from a tough spot on the back line but must still be afforded respect 16. DON'T FORGET - Very consistent colt that rarely disappoints. Poorly drawn but Nivard at the helm and a realistic chance of finishing close

After a surprising blip at Cabourg (2) DESTINO DODVILLE more than made up for it at Vincennes next time and from the 2-spot can make this his own. The hardy (6) DJANGO DU BOCAGE also benefits from a front-line break and looks a tough opponent.(16) DON'T FORGET is a classy colt that consistently gives his best and the Nivard touch can only work to his advantage. (5) DI DOO DI DOO DAH is seldom seen racing left-handed but is currently in form and on good behaviour should figure prominently. (8) DODDY DE VIVE is back on track following a rough patch and can also get a look in. (2) DESTINO DODVILLE - (6) DJANGO DU BOCAGE - (16) DON'T FORGET - (5) DI DOO DI DOO DAH - (8) DODDY DE VIVE

Race 4 1. ELU D'ALI - Often a question of all-or-nothing. Something of a surprising entry here and not a player 2. ECLAIR BAZOQUAIN - Kicked his career off nicely but unconvincing since and needs to raise his game 3. ELMER DU BELVER - Making good progress since his return to competition but the step up in class may prove a step too far 4. ELDORADO ROYAL - Respectable trotter that always gives his best but in better company here and unlikely to influence the outcome 5. EOLE DU PONT - Pleased late summer but has since lost his way. Completely out of the picture here three weeks ago and can be ruled out 6. EMIR DU PONT - Very complicated colt but has shown talent. Raffin has maintained faith and only a matter of time before he gets it right 7. EJAG - Winner of two of the races he has finished and latterly with ease at Le Croise-Laroche. On similar form should again go close 8. ELVEN WINNER - Delicate but has talent in spades. The race could well be his for the asking provided he can stay in stride 9. EVERLASTING LOVE - Moderate type that pleases for the most part but on this occasion will need to find more 10. EL POPOF - Consistently productive colt that fell foul of the stewards last time out but with stride in check should figure prominently 11. EL LOCO - Regularly in the mix. Finished a good third over track and trip earlier in the month and although in better company here should nonetheless acquit himself competitively 12. EASY CHOICE - Has won just once but regularly gives a solid account and the long Enghien straight should suit his style. Place chance 13. ECLAIR DE BABEL - Has climbed the class ladder in good order. Never at his ease at Vincennes last time but Thomain has stayed with him and must be respected 14. EL FLACO - Regularly gives his best but on this occasion can expect to have his work cut out 15. EGALUISARO - Just once out of the frame when applied. Left a good impression at Vire earlier this month and will be one to note The talented but delicate (8) ELVEN WINNER is reunited with Alexandre Abrivard
